Title: Pre-surgical electrolysis in Ohio or Eastern PA area
Post by: Jane's Sweet Refrain on April 15, 2017, 03:44:47 PM
Hi! I have a consultation with Dr. McGinn later this year to schedule GCS and am in the process of doing pre-surgery electrolysis. I was wondering if there are any women in my area who could recommend an electrologist. I'm having trouble finding one on my own. I am nearest to Columbus, OH, but I could travel to Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, etc. for this service. Dr. McGinn has one, but she's soooo far away. Thanks!

Dee Fahey in Columbus does it, and she's supposed to be very good. I've not had treatment with her but have been friends with her online for years on a hair removal forum. I just e-mailed her and will pass along her contact information when I get it.

Thank you so much, Autumn. This help is huge. My prescribing doctor and my therapist BOTH have multiple patients who are also transgender, and neither of them were much help.

Smiles.

Ask Dr. McGinn's office people Debbie or Lorie for the hair removal diagram. I went to Dr. McGinns monthly for 6 months 1 year to 6 months before GCS for hair removal. I was one happy woman after the last lanacane injection :) When the PA-c says this will hurt and gives you two things to squeeze.

Thank you. Sorry I am replying so long after your response. I had been off the forum for a couple of weeks. Injections. I just picked up a prescriptions for topical anesthetics. Wish me luck!
