Hi there! I just recently joined this site (obviously) and am very much looking forward to being here! I've been on this website a lot without ever joining, but I decided it'd be really good if I did. Especially coming from a small town where it's very hard to find and connect with people I relate to in regards to gender topics. It's kind of a rich community with absolutely no diversity and, unfortunately, a lot of racism. /: I've never felt like I fit in with anyone where I currently live, so hopefully joining and being able to post and freely ask questions and reach out to people who understand me will be helpful!
I'd tell everyone my name but I'm still trying to figure it out. I don't like my birth name. Everyone's been calling me 'Robbie' but now I'm second-guessing that decision, too, but feel free to call me that for now! I use they/them or he/him pronouns. I'm super excited to meet new people and feel more of a sense of 'belonging' in a safe environment.

Hi!
Welcome to the forum.
I'm not really a typical member here.
I'm a non-transitioning 64-year-old nonbinary, partially transmale bio female.
MtF people seem to be in the majority on this forum, but maybe it's because they are more willing to talk about it.
Hi Robbie,
I'm Jeanette, just another one of the denizens that lurk here to prey on the experiences of others here. I also double as a self appointed unofficial greeter. As such please let me extend a warm welcome to you. (( hug )) Ooops I hope you don't mind. I was just checking to see if there was any tender meat on your bones. Come on in Robbie, you'll do, err I me make yourself at home. Here try this chair over here by the stove. Did I tell you I like to cook?
So you're a lurker looking for Luck in the Shadows? Sorry, if a reference to a book I read by Lynn Flewelling. Interestingly it's the only series I've ever read where the main character would be right at home in our greater community. Oh heck there I go off on a tangent again, Sorry where was I? Oh yeah ... I am glad you have been here for awhile now and finally decided you could join us and let us get to know you. It is nice to have a place to go where you can fit in without fear of ridicule or recrimination. Here you can talk about those issues you can't talk about anywhere else. Here you can ask your questions and get answers. Here you can share what is bothering you and get help for them. And best yet here you can become a part of an a help to others.
I hope you like it here Robbie and keep returning.
Hugs,
Jeanette
