Title: First sentences/words?
Post by: Denise on April 26, 2017, 07:15:29 AM
When you came out to someone new or switched to full time, what was the most popular response?
Congratulations?
Good bye?
...
In my case there were two classes of people.

Those that know my wife and family: what does you wife think, is she okay?

Others: congratulations.

Biggest surprise: wow, welcome to the LGBT club.

The one I like best is. "You'll have to do better than than to make us to stop loving you"

My good friends in Missouri told me that. It still brings tears to my eyes.

Hugs,

There are a few people who are ignoring me.  Very few, though.  Mostly, it's "Congratulations!"  Some people I wasn't sure about have surprised me with their positive response.
