Tbh, I've never had any issues staying in the major chains, Ibis, Premier Inn etc. The staff have seen it all, are generally well trained, and as a brand they'll never risk any bad anti-lgbt press. Certainly ones in major cities shouldn't give you any concerns, good hunting. X

I have checked into many hotels and motels as Anna here is the USA without any problem.
But I have found that it is easier if you took your photo ID and TG photo so that you dont have to explain yourself.
I never yet experienced a hotel that won't be accepting of your money. They've seen it all and as long you aren't loud, don't invite or create trouble and are reasonably minding your own business (or enjoying your own thing), they are very happy to get along (for a tip, or without any)
