Does anybody else use these?
I pump my breasts regularly and I find that my bra then flattens my painfully extended nipples.
But if I use nipple shields, my projection is preserved. Plus I get a lovely shape in a soft cup bra.
I am gradually adopting the aids of a breast feeding woman. I do get some minor discharges, but I would love to breast feed.
I never used them when I use to pump my breasts. I use to insert nursing breast pads inside my bra to stop to catch any leaking. My breasts did leak a few times, which could have been embarrassing at work.
I expressed for about 6 months daily.. I used to express twice a day. I had access to a double electric breast pump, so I could express from both breasts at the same time. I used to feel like a cow. I never got too much milk, not enough to feed a baby fully. Toward the end, I got a nice flow going.
I really enjoyed the experience and would love to breastfeed a baby. I got fuller and more mature looking breasts, not bigger(tanner 5 breasts) from the experience and for me that was a permanent look. I know some woman's breasts revert back.
The only negative, when your breasts got full of milk, it would get a little uncomfortable. I remember toward the end of my work day, my boobs would get sore and I could not wait to get home to express.
I suppose they have different types of shields, but I haven't seen one I'd want to wear. I've been using Supple Nipps for awhile now to perk things up, but I haven't felt the need to disguise them as of yet. I think if they did protrude too much I'd just let up a bit. I've seen people who seem to get carried away with these things and end up with very long nipples, but I'll be happy with something about 1/2" diameter by a 1/2" protrusion for that Jen Aniston look, then call it a day. It's a good idea to keep your overall goals in mind when doing these things.
