Title: I felt discriminated from other transwomen
Post by: Rebchen on May 25, 2017, 04:40:19 PM
So I decided to attend a MTF support group yesterday and totally felt very discriminated. I was mostly ignored and got some angry looks too. Some other looking at me in awe.

Most transwoman there were not passable at all(I personally don't care if one is passable or not) and had a lot of struggles going on in their life. I on the other hand have it very easy but I went there in hopes of meeting other transwoman and making a friend or two. While I have a lot of sympathy for their situation, I still don't understand how could one be so discriminatory and small minded towards someone who was nothing but very nice, open and considerate. How could women that face so much discrimination because of how they look judge/discriminate someone else because of how they look?

I wouldn't call it discrimination, but That's why I don't hangout with other trans women, I don't like competition.

I haven't met any trans people in person (not in the past 20 years anyway) but I find this same attitude online [emoji853]
