Hiya! I joined this site a few years back but never used it much and have been gone for a while.
My name is Mariah, I'm a kinda geeky transfeminine/non-binary 22-year-old from Wales, UK. I work on a heritage site and hope to build a career in academic history. My specialism is modern Britain (post 1945).
I'm into walking, games, rock, almost all animals, and reading (mainly non-fiction). For the past few years I have been going back and forth regarding my transition due to less than ideal conditions at home, but I think I will be pressing forward in the next few months.
I hope I can be helpful and meet some friends maybe ^-^
Welcome back!
Your cat is hella cute!!!! <3
He is! The poor guy has just had his third cancerous lump removed so he is a little out of sorts right now.
Loving the Terry Pratchett quote :3

Aw! Hope he'd get better! My kitty just got her stitches removed yesterday morning, but it was just a minor procedure (resecting a little amount scarring tissue from the cornea) so she's already running up and down :D
Hi and welcome back!
I'm over the other side of the UK not too far from Cambridge. *waves*. Hope your moggy is back on form soon. X

What made you leave the greatest country on earth? :O! I'm from Monmouthshire if that's anywhere near home for you :p
I like your Youtube channel!
Welcome back! Try Geocaching (see my signature for a link), it's truly a geeky walking game. I've been placing and finding Munzees lately, too. It's more like vandalism than the geocaching is. I can't get enough of it! >:-)
See you around the site!
Hugs, Devlyn

Ooh Barry seemed OK when I passed through there. Although in truth I completely understand why anyone would move out of Wales, there isn't a whole lot in terms of opportunity here. Do you get many (or any) chances to visit home?
