'Why does the transgender community hate the Human Rights Campaign (HRC)? It's a question I get asked frequently in GLBT settings. Considering the recent GLBT family feud erupting over ENDA, it's an appropriate one to ask as well.'
Does anybody have or know of a Transgender Public Enemy website? One that lists the enemies and what they have done to achieve that status?
I'm glad these articles are coming out. I feel we all need to know our history, lest we be doomed to repeat it.

Hi,
I read halfway through that article and then felt like punching people, so I stopped. I'm not going to let them types of folks get to me anymore.
It's a good article, though, despite making me angry.
Karen you might find the TGV-advocacy (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TGV_Advocacy/) yahoo group to be of interest

Never forgive and never forget.
I was recently at a LGBT gathering when someone mentioned they were heavily involved with HRC. I said, "Sorry to hear that." Lingered for a moment and then walked over to another group of people.
HRC has always worked against us. Let history be our teacher and make sure that you do not support them.
