Title: I am curious
Post by: whovian239342 on June 18, 2017, 09:13:13 PM
I am not at the point to even consider this but still, I ask.

Do I have to undergo voice feminization before srs or is that optional.

I want to remain gender queer but I also want to get the surgery. I guess I want to be more female than male if that makes any sense.

I guess all surgeons require different things. I know I will have to get a note from a gender therapist and there are other requirements but this is something I have been thinking about for a while.

I still have time to think more about this.

I am still going through my first month of hormones and 3rd month of spironolactone.

Voice Feminization is not required for GRS.

Voice feminization surgery is always an option. Voice therapy isn't that difficult and it leave you the option of going male, female or something in between. If your insurance policy offers it, you might want to take advantage of therapy just so you know how to do it latter on if you change your mind about it.
