Title: Trachea Shave at Kamol Hospital?
Post by: Pengola on June 28, 2017, 10:42:13 AM
Hi sorry if this is not the right place for this topic but here's my situation and im hoping you sisters can offer me some information or insight?

I recently went to Yeson to inquire about voice feminization surgery. Dr Kim, whilst against the Trachea Shave procedure as according to him it decreases the vocal pitch, upon my insistance he recommended thefacial team. However they seen to be very very booked up and incredibly difficult to get in contact with. I couldn't even get them to tell me the price of the procedure! If anyone knows how much this procedure costs at thefacialteam in spain pls let me know it would very helpful.

Anyways my next option is at Kamol Hospital in Bangkok. I just want to know if any of you ladies have done the procedure or have had it done at Kamol and if so, has there been any loss in pitch or damage to the vocal cords? I know its a small procedure comparative to SRS however it seems that damaging the vocal cords is a very real possibility.

PS: looking to do the procedure in 3rd week of July.

Any information shared is much appreciated. Thanks!

I am not sure about Kamol but there have been a few testimonies about Trachea Shave at the PAI and Chettawut and they have all reported good results.

thanks for the response. I havent looked into PAI but i have met with chet. I didn't like the vibe of his clinic as it was not well facilitated and ive also read several bad reviews about him.

Another interesting thing is, are sutures for the procedure usually dissolvable ones like the facialteam? Because i read PAI's is not dissolvable.

Hmmm, I don't think that makes any difference. I don't know what kind of sutures PAI uses but you can send them an e mail and ask..

great! thank you! The facial team finallly responded to me so now I have 3 appointments for a consult. One with suporn, one at pai and one with the facial team. I am leaning more towards facial team because yeson recommended them and I plan on doing voice feminizaton at yeson after
