I am still early in HRT, so I am, in Boi Mode. But I like to dream about cloths I want to wear someday. So I am on Amazon and You Tube always browsing, always imagining myself in fashionable cloths. This lady exemplifies what I like.

Go for it sweetheart! You being stuck in "Boi Mode" shouldn't stop you. I'm not even on HRT but that doesn't stop me from being an "edgy hipster." You want to know why? Cause dressing in what I love makes me feel happy and good about myself. Sure, I may still be a little visibly curvaceous when wearing what I want, but that doesn't matter because I know that one day I will fill in my clothes a little better and that I will look super snazzy when I do get on T.
The 90's have been back in style for a few years now, just look at the whole pseudo grunge look with its expensive pre-made holy jeans! I'm just glad the acid wash jeans with crop top look hasn't came back.

I as a Goth back in the 80s & still do wear sometimes goth clothing, a lot of it is very unisex the netting/ mesh look so I wouldn't worry too much, I live in a very small village & people are used to it now so just wear what the hell you like if people have a problem with it well its there problem not yours.

I was just pointing out that some looks, like the gothic look, never go out of style, while ones like "grunge" come and go and sometimes make a comeback. Personally, I like the goth look, but it doesn't like me... neither does the hipster look, even though I ride a bicycle. On the other hand, frumpy just rolled out of bed stoner looks great on me (not an admittance of drug use).
I think I would call my style "casual elegance". My wife and I found a lovely second-hand store that stocks beautiful modern and vintage clothes at crazy-reasonable prices. Half my wardrobe comes from there.
I am getting a good eye for what looks good on me. I simply refuse to wear drab clothing any more. It's got to have some colour, pattern, or swish to it or I don't want it.
My outfit for going to the theatre last night was a longish full skirt with a lovely flair to it, in an irridescent gray that flashed purple when the light struck it right, with an embriodered floral pattern on it. A simple plain purple top, and a gray cardigan over it. It was a bit dressier than I wear for hanging out at home, but it was the sort of thing I love wearing. Should have gotten my wife to take a picture.
So many fashion dreams! I've always been in love with high end designers, especially Prada, (Y)SL, Versace, etc. I've been in love with their fashion for years, and I pray that I either make enough money or get discovered so I can eventually indulge.
For now, I've been learning to love the way I feel in dresses. It's been easy to wear women's button ups, jeans, and shoes, but I've been wanting to steer away from the super casual look. I'm a girly girl, and love getting done up. I finally bit the bullet and went to a mall this week. If anyone had issues with it, I didn't notice because I didn't care. I found this, among others, and HAD to have it. There's something ethereal about wearing a dress that blows in the wind and drapes me comfortably. I've learned to say goodbye (at least for now) to my want of tight, ruched party dresses.

Well, I have to stay in Boi Mode. I am trying to lose weight so I can get small enough to wear fashionable cloths. Such cloths tend to run small as it is. I also look very male. So my journey will be a long one. I won;t leave the house looking female unless I pass. The cloths I wear now are very plain. In fact, I just call them 'body coverings' because it just keeps me warm and out of jail.
