Hi folks,
My apologies if this isn't the right place to ask this. I'm currently filling out my medical package for Dr. Brassard's clinic. It asks for a recent photo from head to toe. Basically, I want to know if this photo is supposed to be of me clothed or nude. Figured I would try to reach out to folks who have had surgery with Brassard before having to call the clinic and ask.
Thanks in advance!
Hayley
I hope it's clothed! I am considering going to him, but I'm not sending anyone a pic of my face with my preop genitals!
I just had mine done in April. I cannot remember being asked to submit a photo!

That's my thought exactly! And what if it gets lost in the mail?

Congrats on your surgery! Maybe it is a new requirement?
Maybe so. My date was a real 'rush' in more that one way. I had only ten days to respond, get the required last minute tests done, and get to Montreal. I was also out of the country, so all had to be done in the week I had once I was back.
You will be very good hands with Dr. Brassard and Dr. Belanger. I met Dr. Brassard the morning of my surgery and wow, what a beautiful person. As soon as he spoke, I felt that I was in a wonderful place! A lot of the girls 'fall in love' with him. I found the nurses and staff wonderful people! I actually cried when I had to leave. Met some great women during my stay. There were nine of us in the recovery centre. I am coming up to my three month date and this is significant in that I get to drop a dilation! All is great and I could not be more pleased with my new V.
All the Best! Hugs
I'm having surgery at NYU on Aug 8th. When I went in for my consult and said I wanted to go with them they immediately sent me to "Photography" for a full set of photos. The Photographer was great and said, this would be the first of many. I'm seeing my surgeons 3 days before surgery and I fully expect that they will take, and study, new closeups before the surgery to plan all the details. . . I like that they want to study their "subject" up close before the surgery!! :-)
i don't know if my input will be of any value as i am a trans man but i went to dr. brassard's clinic (even though dr. belanger did my surgery) for my top surgery. they required a photo (i sent my whole package via email, not mail) and it was required it be topless from the side and from the front. this was two years ago. i also second what islandgirl said because i also enjoyed my experience going there. if you are unsure you could call them or email them.
