A week ago, I was a newly divorced suburban gay mom. (My ex is a butch lesbian cis-woman with whom I've raised two children for 16 years.)
I thought I'd try Tinder. Spent about 20 minutes, tried to figure out swiping right, and then gave up. The next night I checked for matches... and there she was.
She is a lesbian-identified MTF who ticks all my boxes. Stunning eyes. Sweet smile. The softest skin I've ever held.
It bears noting that I hadn't remembered she was trans when we started talking. I wasn't trans-seeking... it just all fell into place.
We exchanged phone numbers to text, made a plan to work out together, and the rest is history. We're moving quick, as lesbians do, and my eyes are flying open.
Just this afternoon, she helped me understand that I have to come out again too.
It appears that I'm a pansexual woman with a smokin hot butch lesbian girlfriend.
WTF. In a good way, but still.
In other news, my doctor swapped me to bisexual healthcare today so that I can take birth control. Before I pick up the prescription... she's making me take a pregnancy test.
For a (formerly) lesbian, monogamous, subfertile woman, being required to take a pregnancy test is high comedy. But I'll do it.
