Title: Hi, I'm new here
Post by: Desire on July 03, 2017, 11:58:27 PM
Hello All,
Thank You for taking the time to read my introduction.  I'm mid 40's, husband, father and medical professional.  My Wife and I are both sexually experienced and very self aware as well as aware of each other.  I have always felt the need to be "overly male" especially sexually.  Many partners when I was young as well as after my divorce from my first wife.  However, there was always a guilt after, uneasy and uncomfortable feeling.
Last year we began chastity play and we soon realized that we enjoyed being close without the focus on "male" desires.  After much self exploration I was able to be truthful outwardly that I was not comfortable being male.  My Wife also had realized that she enjoyed me even more not so male.
I have began T blockers and our intention is to continue as far as we decide. I have no desire to
"Be female" outside of us, except dates etc.  Each to their own but as of now that's my vision.
Thank You
Desire

Welcome to Susan's Place. While many people on the site intend to transition at least to the point of living in the opposite gender, we have a population of members who don't wish to transition and some of them have picked the path of minimal HRT to help control the dysphoria. I am including three links discussing this that you might find interesting. Let us know if there is anything we can help with.

Hi and welcome, Desire!

There are many ways to express our authentic selves, and yours is one of those paths.

Looking forward to hearing more from your perspective, because many who are new to discovering that they are trans would find it beneficial to consider paths similar to yours.

Thank You for the welcoming words!! Truly I'm very blessed.  I have a Wife who welcomes my transition however far we choose.  We expect that my transition will eventually become permanent, but, we will go through hrt and see what our expectations are in 1-2 years.  I am heterosexual and she is bi sexual.
I'm awaiting a date for invasive shoulder surgery so we've held off on further hrt until that's completed.
Thank You😊
