Title: Looking for answers too
Post by: ClaireC14 on July 04, 2017, 08:29:19 AM
Hi there

I am a newbie to this site. I live in the UK. Although I present as male for some time I have e felt predominately female most of the time. It's not sexually exciting or arroysibg but when I can dress as a female I feel more comfortable and more like my female personality of Claire. If it were possible I would definitely live full time and present as Claire a feminist and quite possibly a leabian

Hi, Claire!

Welcome to the site.

We'd like to get to know you!  Try posting a little bit about yourself in a new topic just for yourself, in our Introductions forum. (https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/board,8.0.html) Tell us your story, how you came to join our family, life lessons learned, and tell us what makes the world a special place for you.

I know lots of folks out in the Real World who present male much of the time, but feel strongly female.  They accommodate to the realities of their life, and seem content to just spend occasional evenings or weekends expressing their femme selves.  (I was out with a group of gals like this last night, terrorizing a local Italian restaurant and bar. :)  I think everyone had a grand time, and the locals now have something new to talk about. ;D )  There are many paths through life, and nobody can really tell us which one is right for ourselves other than ourself.

You will notice that there is a lot of activity and chatter related to transition here on this site.  As a supportive place, we naturally get lots of questions and discussions on issues that come up, and much of that is related to the technical nuts and bolts of gender transition.  That doesn't mean that transition is what most of the transgender population does, though, so please don't let it put you off.

I hope you feel welcome here.

A Cautionary Note:
Please try to remember when posting that The Internet Never Forgets, and the various web crawlers and archival sites out there somewhere make sure of this.

This is a public forum. We cannot insure that any information shared on the site will be protected from public view and/or copying or reproduction.  There is no way to guarantee that automated image and writing style analyzers out there won't see and process your post.

Do not share anything on Susan's that you do not want to be public information.

I also want to share some links with you. They are mostly welcome information and the rules that govern the site. If you have not had a chance to take a look, please take a moment to go through them.

Things that you should read

Once again, welcome to Susan's. Look around, ask questions and join in.

Welcome to the most amazing place on the interwebs, Undercovergirl. Being a newbie in this field myself and FTM ( new to that recognition as well) I can't add any more wisdom or better and more helpful words than those already expressed by our experience elders of Susan's Place.

Welcome once again and make yourself comfortable here as you explore our ( that includes you) extraordinary, colorful world of human diversity.  I think you will find it transformative in many ways.

Hiya girl :)

I too was worried that since so many who called themselves trans seemed only interested in the sexual side of female clothing that I was messed up.
Turns out they are just a different type of trans.

No rush, take your time and explore the site :)

Female clothing is awesome - you get to pay more for less material, styles go out of fashion quickly and each brand seems to use a dartboard for sizing.  Just kidding... almost.  And then the world's most expensive paint, it's called makeup.

But I still know what I prefer to be.  More power to you for the same.
