I know not everyone admires the menu at MacDonald's. I am sort of vegan (plus fish), had my last Big Mac in 1995 when my waistline was 16 inches larger. Regardless of nutritional wisdom, The Economist has published the Big Mac Index since 1986.
Does anything similar exist to compare the personal medical cost of being transgender in each country?

You owe me two minutes of my life back!

Very interesting question, Kendra. It would be a cost of transition versus revenue and cost of life for each country. It would be an eye-opener.

Sadly I believe we're the newest thing for them to play around with all of our costs are actually what probably keeps these medical institutions busy and employed

Devlyn, in two minutes you can have fries with that. :P
Kendra, that is an awesome idea. I know my/insurance company/ work costs for my transition and it continues to roll up. There could be a sub index per country like a Spiegel index.
I don't want to know what I spent!!!! :)
All I know is it was worth every penny and then some!!!! :)
Yep that's a lot of Big Macs - and I haven't even had real surgery yet.
