Title: My life now (Haven't been on here in almost a year)
Post by: PeterSteele on July 23, 2017, 04:50:36 PM
So, I haven't been on here in awhile so I'd like to tell you whats up.
So if you have seen my earlier posts, I came out and many people didn't accept it and well...they still don't.
So what I have done now, is just pretty much identify as a female, even though deeply inside my feelings of wanting to be a male still linger.
I do my best to hide it and don't ever speak of it. In December it will be 1 year acting this way.
So, I have a lot more years many many many,so I guess I'll see how this will go.
I'm not sure if its a good choice, but it did stop most of the hate.

That sounds..... really sad.

I am sorry you had to endure that and keep to yourself. Do you atleast have a safe and productive way of expressing other parts of yourself?

Thank you for replying. I do not have any way of expressing myself, which is pretty bad. At least my family loves me again.. It's tough.

Hi Peter!

I'm sorry things are not as ideal as they could be... It sounds like you are in a state of compromise for the time being that carries some benefit to it but in time I believe you'll find a path to life more inline with your heart and mind!!!... Wishing you blessings, strength and hope for your path forward!!!!

Onward we go!!!

Ashley :)

I was thinking about you a couple of days ago and was wondering how you were doing. At this point, the only advice I can give you is to get all the school you can and then start saving your money for the future. I know this solution will work as it's the path I needed to take. It will be slow but I believe you can do it. It the mean time, stay in touch and let us know how you are doing.

Holy crap! This is not a great situation to be in. At least it's not a permanent condition and you can create a path out of it. Have a plan and work through to the end goal: freedom to express who you really are.

You can and will break free in time.

All strength, focus and determination to you.

Wow, that truly sucks!

I don't know how old you are, but I second the emotion of saving up money until you can move out on your own.

Maybe you can do little things, like buy yourself men's underwear or t-shirts.  Just be sure to do your own laundry so you don't get found out.

Or maybe you can ask to go see a therapist.  That way, you can talk to them about your gender dysphoria and the doctor can actually legitimize that you are gender dysphoric and need to transition.  Make sure the therapist does their research into transgender people so they can be as understanding of your situation as possible.

Btw, epic-cool name and icon pic!  Nice to see another Type O Negative fan here!
