Title: Can too high of an estradiol level impede progress?

I have always wondered this?  I know SHBG binds sex hormones such as DHT, and Testosterone but how much does SHBG bind estradiol?  Just like we have free testosterone we have free estradiol levels.

I had poor breast development on very high levels with injections and much better results on oral and gel where levels were lower, and this despite even adding some T to the mix. BUT, I think the reason for poor breast development on injections might be due to levels falling to rapidly whereas with oral/gel, they remained more constant. Who knows?
