Title: After SRS how does it feel/when does it stop hurting/pleasure MTF
Post by: A-ALASKAGIRL on August 03, 2017, 08:03:21 AM
Just curious, after SRS how does it feel down there? When does it start feeling normal again? When did you start getting pleasurable sensations, and How does it feel to have sex/orgasm compared to your old self. Time tables of when you started hrt/ got srs/ and how long it took for everything listed above to happen would be very helpful. Also how do you feel about it. any regrets, love it, thoughts?

I started HRT six months into my transition, and it only took a couple months for it to completely kill my libido.  Which was perfectly fine with me, as that was a source of dysphoria.  But I did make sure to check the "electricity" every month or so, because I knew I was going to have SRS and I wanted to make sure I could have a happy response down there.

I had SRS about two years into transition, with Meltzer.  This was back around the turn the of the century, mind you.  I had a lot of discomfort down there for several weeks, mostly a dull achey pain that would get more intense during dilation, and was otherwise just a very sore, raw feeling.

At 2 weeks postop, I started deliberately trying to orgasm.  It took about a week of much experimentation to finally have one, and it was just a tiny baby little blip of pleasure at that, but it was definitely an O, all from my clit, though accompanied by dilation (I strongly recommend masturbating during dilation just to make it a pleasure instead of a chore).  It didn't take more than 3 or 4 more days to have full orgasms, so that was nice.

I was having intercourse about 10 and a half weeks post-op.  I never had a vaginal orgasm until I'd been with the same lover for a couple months, but it was still all very enjoyable and I got close several times, though frankly I had a good lover who'd go down on me before having sex, and from that I was (and still am) multi-orgasmic.

I'm nearly two decades post-op now.  I recently got a really big glass dildo, 1.75 inches wide and completely smooth, and from that I've finally unlocked (just in the last few months) multi-orgasmic pleasure strictly from penetration.  Never expected that.  :D

Hi there Miss Alaska.
One of my favorite places in all the world.  I've lived from Bethel to St Marys, Anchorage, Juneau, and Ketchikan over a few decades and my heart is still there.  Lucky you.

To your question.  I'm about 5 months post op with Dr. Ley who is in Dr. Meltzer's office.  The advice to masturbate during dilation (after the first six weeks or so) is good.  It makes the time spent much more pleasant indeed.  I had my first orgasm that way at about two months and can bring myself to climax pretty regularly with vibrators. (I like the silicone rubber ones that stimulate both clitorally and vaginally.

I haven't orgasmed with my girlfriend yet, and have not had sex with men since transitioning so I can't comment there.  But done well, there is no cutting of the nerve bundle and sensation returns as the swelling subsides.  I takes a while, but it happens.

Good luck and safe travels,

Julie

Thxs for the info. Also how did it feel? like better than before starting hrt, the same, or a lot better. Is it like a full body thing?

For me the sensation is quite different from pre HRT. As there is no ejaculation there are waves of intense feeling that build and diminish and build again.  Pretty amazing and quite wonderful.

Have fun,
Julie

Hi AK Girl,

Welcome to the forum sister!!!

I had GRS with Dr Bowers in May 2015... Very little actual pain afterwards despite some complications... Definitely some discomfort but I never even took any of the prescription pain meds ... Just a few over the counter type..  Actually, there was a lot of post op numbness in the whole area that fades away and by the time it does .., you're healed! ...100% settling of the swelling takes a while ... At three months, much healing had occurred but there was probably still a bit of settling going on at close to the year mark

As far as sen sensation... I could orgasm very intensely at 4 weeks post op but it took a lot of work to get there because of post op numbness and swelling ( as you can see, I rushed things a bit because I was anxious to find out!!! :) ) ...My now husband and I had our first sex around the 4 month mark and orgasms now, are regularly more intense ( kind of the waves JB mentioned) than they were with my previous anatomy and close to as easy to achieve
.

Onward we go!!!

Ashley :)
