I took a rendez-vous with my personal doctor for next week, to start taking steps forward.
However, a question has been stressing me out : is there a risk of being refused HRT? I mean, I don't want to fully transition, as I'm rather androgynous; could it be considered like I'm not really serious about it or something like that?
We have had other non binary member from Canada who went all the way through surgery so that part wouldn't be a problem. Where their might be a problem is if you connect with the doctor who doesn't understand the non binary. On the other hand, If you are androgynous, you may not have a choice in the matter. People who start androgynous tend to get better results from HRT and you might find yourself in male fail long before you ever expected to have it.
Most likely the best approach to take would be to explain you are dysphoric but you don't really know how far you want to take it which most likely will be the truth. If people start gendering you female you might discover you like and take the transition farther than you currently plan to.
Thank you for your advice. It is true that I'm not sure about how far I want to go. Maybe when I'll be halfway, I'll decide to continue forward. I guess I won't stop before I'm fully comfortable in my body. I'll try introducing it that way... we'll see what happens^^
Though, if my doctor isn't open towards non binari,I don't know if I can try with another doctor.

You don't actually need to mention this part.

I started as very androgynous and thin. i had to go full time as female several months before planning to because I started to get gendered as female......all the time. Hormones are powerful things and you may change faster than you are expecting.
