Title: FFS forums
Post by: Danielle11746 on August 10, 2017, 01:51:19 AM
What are the best forums for FFS info?

I know of ->-bleeped-<-.

This Facebook group https://m.facebook.com/groups/FacialFeminizationSurgery/

This site Susans.org

The old yahoo group that seems dead https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/FFS-support/info

RealSelf.com has many reviews

Is there anything else?

Thats probably it. A friend of mine wants to set up a Facebook group specifically aimed at before and after photos of FFS with gallery for various surgeons, but its not even really been set up properly yet.

Is ->-bleeped-<- helpful at all? I never used ->-bleeped-<- so far and dont know if it is a safe place or has valuable information.

I personally think, that ->-bleeped-<- is a very chaotic area with a lot of junk... Would need much more structure.

The current Facebook FFS group has before and after.  In just wondering if I am missing some other online resources.  I don't trust review sites like RealSelf or Yelp as RealSelf the surg ones pay to be on there and with that don't trust the info is 100 percent honest.

I agree with you... But can't you imagine, that there are also users in different platforms which could be paid to bully other surgeons... Sometimes it's very obviously, sometimes it's more subtile.

I am not interested in supporting or advertising other sites so I am closing this thread down.

I will say that as far as I am aware most of the well known FFS groups have representatives looking at what is posted about them on all sites.

You should also be aware that while honest and constructive criticism maybe accepted, I would not be surprised if some of the libellous and contentious issues that I have seen posted are followed by the various teams through the Law.
