Hi all,
I am here to ask something which may be awkard. I'm probably having breast implants together with SRS on September. My doctor currently is in vacation and I'll surely ask the question. But what was it like for those of you who had breast implants? I honestly have really tiny boobs, however, since starting HRT my breasts have become a very erogenous zone for me. I have only been with one guy, and we didn't go all the way, but when he touched my breasts and sucked my nipples, it was very arousing and they were sensitive to touch. Could this be all gone after Breast Augmentation? I really want bigger boobs, at least a B cup, but I don't want to lose sensitivity. What was it like for you girls?
thanks and sorry for awkwardness,
Hypersensitivity is what I had after my implants ... but that subsided months later thankfully

I haven't noticed any change in sensitivity, either. (I went from a modest A cup to a full C, saline under the muscle, placed through the nipple, when I had SRS.)

That was the case form as well... I did not lose any sensitivity but my breasts don't feel "real".
My saline implant is too "contained" and so not does not feel or move the same as normal breast tissue ...
IIRC Meltzer put in 500 CC implants but filled then to 525 cc... (I had no idea what size would be good for me, so I let him decide on implant size and fill)
Do you have that issue with feel?
BTW my implants are now 19 years old and wonder how much longer they will last!

Hi,
I had my BA July 12, 2017. I was told the breasts could get more sensitive, less, the same or no sensation. It the nerve is cut then there is no sensitivity. My nipples are hard and sore almost all the time. I think it is because on one side there is the implant and on the other side there is the sports bra worn all the time for 3 months.
I still use my nipples when getting in the mood.
I had 555 cc Mentor cohesive silicone partially under the muscle. They are nice and soft. When the sports bra finally comes off the breast will fluff a bit. I am a full C I think. I will know when I get fitted for a bra in 2 month.
I was told by Dr. McGinn they are as big as I could go. She had a problem fitting the one partially under the muscle.
Good luck. I had wanted to have my BA with my GCS but my GCS had issues and the BA was canceled for 6 months.

Meltzer was able to create some decent sized pockets for me, and thankfully I had very little capsular contracture (I was religious about massaging them regularly), so when my arms are down my breasts feel and move pretty normal overall. They're only obvious if (when naked) I raise my arms over my head, or flex my chest muscles, so I just don't do that.
I emphasized I wanted a soft feel above all else, so I believe he ended up slightly underfilling mine.
I can still "find" the implants manually, but I can't feel them viscerally, and I've got enough natural tissue and muscle in front that there's plenty of softness to grasp without actually grabbing the implants themselves.
Like you, I'm wondering how much longer they'll last, and whether it makes sense to have them replaced. If so, I'm considering over-the-muscle placement for even more natural feel and movement, but I'll need to get some consults to make sure I'm understanding it all correctly.

I don't have any capsular constriction. I had lost a LOT of weight before SRS so I creative pocket was not an issue for me.
But I have very little natural tissue so it's impossible to 'grab' my breast without feeling the implants.

I was always under the impression that under the muscle would be felt less and that in terms of natural feel Silicon gel > cohesive gel > Saline.
What i have been reading seems to suggest that saline implants last longer. They are obviously less of an issue if they do leak and the gel implants require regular MRIs to detect leaks - which tend not o be covered by insurance.
The issue with the gel implants is that they can't be inserted through the nipple... The incision in that case is usually in the fold below the breasts - which is much more likely to leave a notable scar.
After 3-4 years the scars around the nipples essentially disappeared for me.
At this point I'll probably leave mine in unless one leaks.
