So I've read that general advice is to wait for at least one year on hormones (a year in a half is preferable) to give your body a chance to develop enough breast tissue for the surgery. I've even read that if you do it too early you might end up looking like someone stuck 2 balloons in there because of not having a breast pocket.
Did any of you get BA before the 1 year mark and got great results?

I had augmentation after 6 months of HRT almost 2 years ago. I've been very happy with my results. I've posted some pictures in a couple of topic threads so you can see what they look like. Everyone tells me how great they look and I'm very glad I did it when I did.

Good to know Jess. Did you get extra growth due to hormones after the surgery?

Oh yes. They are still growing. I was a small C post Augmentation and I'm a D now. It takes a good 5 years to fully develop. My Doctor (Harisson Lee in Beverly Hills) did a fantastic job of installing the implants. I didn't go overly big (500 CC's) because I was looking at just being proportional for my body size and type. I had them placed under the muscle and even as I have grown they have remained looking very natural.
I had then done at the same I had FFS and those two procedures helped me greatly. Best money I spent in all of my transition. I am glad that I didn't wait to have them done.
Thanks for the answers Jess!
Mods, any chance we can move this to the transgender discussion forum so more people can see it?
