Just curious about breast buds.
I'm about 2 1/2 months into my HRT program and while I know it may be too soon to experience much, if any breast growth (usually 3+ months).
When I'm standing up and feel around my nipples and breasts and kind of pinch them, I'm never quite sure if I can feel the lump beneath my nipples. most of the time, if I feel something there, it is only when I pinch them from one direction (left/right or top/bottom). I do have a "decent" amount of extra flesh/tissue of some sort in that area.
But when I laydown, It obviously all dissapears, but I don't feel anything even remotely resemlbing a lump beneath my nipples then.
Once I have budded and can feel the breast buds, should I be able to feel them, or otherwise notice them while laying down on my back?
Hi Myranda!
Don't think I had the pleasure to meet you, yet! [emoji4]

Yes, definitely. You'll feel a lump with a firm consistency and you'll be able to literally grab it while laying down. For me, that clearly happened after around 5 months HRT. Before that, I also had the impression that there was a lump when I stood up, but it wasn't really evident.

Everyone's different, but yes. You should be able to find a small mass that you can basically push around until it begins to flatten and spread... then it's just boob and difficult to find because of the fat accumulation around it.
I guess the "your milage may vary" quip is very true here. I've been on E for only 4 weeks now and have very significant buds. Very firm, in oval shape about 3" wide x 2" tall. They are also very thick - feels to be maybe an inch?
I think in my case they were kick started and just waiting for E - I was on dutesteride for maybe 4 years and then Spiro for 9 months before taking E. So I had lovely man boobs before starting E.
They are quite sensitive to pressure so I am constantly aware of them. Which gives me great joy. :)

I'm not sure we are talking about the same thing here.
Once you have your breast buds you will for sure feel some uncomfortable mass if you lay on your stomach/chest are. I've never noticed my buds when i sleep on my back since they aren't heavy...but for sure when i lay on my stomach in a flat position.
