I'm almost 3 years on T, saving up for top surgery. Just wondering who gives the best results for a larger/obese trans man. Yes I know I'll need to loose some weight, but even still there is the excess skin issues an in really trying to avoid developing dof ears. Or more than 1 procedure.

There's not going to be a single best doctor. I would look into surgeons that are geographically close to you and ask them about their experience with obese trans men. Specifically ask to see pictures of people whose bodies are similar to yours. If they don't have results from people similar to you, look elsewhere.
I second what Max said- ask local surgeons for pictures and their experiences. There's TONS of surgeons out there who do this procedure, and some near you might not be well known but still do great work.
My surgeon (without my even asking, which was comforting) explained exactly what she does to avoid dog ears- so I would ask them if they have something they do, and what it is. If they don't do anything to avoid them, I'd talk my business elsewhere. I had also seen some results from my surgeon of people roughly my size, but had I not, I would have asked to see some.
She did describe to me how she does the surgery differently for larger guys versus smaller guys as well, and which she thought would be most appropriate for me. For example, on nipple size, she said that she has 2 different templates for size, and she gives larger guys the larger nipples if it isn't mentioned because larger men just tend to have larger nipples, but will absolutely go with whatever size a patient asks for. Finding a surgeon that is completely happy to explain their process for larger men, and you being comfortable with that process is what you should try to find.
I agree with these guys, but if you are looking for a specific name, I went to dr sajan in seattle and he has great pictures on his website of all body types. he includes a little bit of lipo in his procedure around the chest area to help maximize the results and make it look more natural. i'm not super large but i'm not really fit (even more so before surgery) and i was thrilled. i've seen results of his on heavier people too. no dog earing.
