After my waltz with Cancer I can no longer push a wheel chair so we have got the Forumula 1, Indie 500, Drag racing, 4WDriving, Hot rodding, turbocharged stunt performing vehicle for my wife.
So I ask, where shall we go out for the day?
<She has not been out with me for over a year from her nursing home as I have not been able to cope physically after the damage to my shoulders>
We got to the park and she disappeared in a cloud of mud (can you have a cloud of mud? It's winter so we don't have dust this week in Adelaide).
I found her feeding ducks.
She had gone down the path, over a bridge, did a wheelie and .... had a smile all over her face.
I just posted to give you a cheer. When you are feeling rough, there are good days as well.

Those turbocharged 4WD chairs are scary! I see a lot of them around town. Some even look better than a Harley Davidson. FREEDOM MACHINES!
Next she will be wanting jumping ramps to practice her "air moves" :D

I wouldn't laugh. I've seen one guy race up the ramp to the local RSL club, at speeds that could have killed some unwitting person exiting the club.
I think they should be reminded of speed limits. :police:
I am serious...nothing would surprise me...I had visions of jump ramps like the guys going somersaults with their bikes and I saw a guy in a chair do it as well looked awesome...
That's awesome, Cindy! Your wife is an inspiration, and your post this morning made me smile and gave me a lift. I also cry when I read or see life and joy happening in people in spite of facing something as serious as cancer.
Blessings!
Tommie
Aww, that is beautiful. Bringing a smile to your wife's face has brought a smile to mine. :)
There is NOTHING like bringing a smile the the wife's face. I am sure it is one of the best things to see. I know it is for me.

Cindy, only you can bring tears of happiness and joy from telling a story of a "Forumula 1, Indie 500, Drag racing, 4WDriving, Hot rodding, turbocharged stunt performing vehicle"! Thank you for sharing your story, I can not begin to imagine the joy and freedom that you gave your wife with that acquisition.
She looks so happy feeding the ducks. I am glad she can now get out.
Great Post :)
Now you have gone and done it Cindy! My wife saw your post and wants me to put a big motor on her chair.
We have the world record in the UK for the worlds fastest mobility scooter, look in the Guinness Book of Records. Don't know about duck feeding records.
