Hey Everyone :)
So with my FFS less than a month away (exciting but terrifying), Yesterday was the first day that it all hit me of what a major procedure I am about to go through on my own, in a completley different country, such a long way from home in the UK.
After lots of research, I am attending the Olmec Clinic in India for my FFS which is the full works. I know I am not the first person to do this on their own and I won't be the last, I know many people have dealt with the pain etc..
I am just so scared now and worried that the pain will be out of this world !
Of course , I have done lots of research and there is people who say it is just uncomfrotable and others who say its so so painful.
I'm pretty sure it's totally normal to feel like this, I keep focusing on the end result and that is what is pushing me through xx
I've met a couple of girls while they were in Boston seeing Dr Spiegel, they were alone and made it. Naturally, it's nice to have someone bring you an ice pack or drink when you're wiped out, but you should be able to get by. And yes, it's perfectly normal to be terrified. :)
Hugs, Devlyn
I had major FFS last year with Dr. Spiegel and went alone. I used oxi in the hospital for 2 days. Make sure you have anti-acids for the Oxi. I had an issue on the third day with the oxi and could not take. I flushed in down the toilet and dealt with the pain. I is able to be dealt with. If you can stay in the hospital for 3 days.
10 days away here and the jitters are setting in. Eyes on the prize girl. I fully believe that the before is harder than the after.
What are you having done and what is the cost. I am thinking about some lypo in the tummy, love handles and jowls then some jowl skin tightening and upper eye lift.
Which of us are you asking?

Earlier this year I traveled from the US to Spain for FFS... the final weeks leading up to the travel date had mounds of stress. Amidst the "weeds" created by anxiety, I kept my eye on the goal... I basically kept imagining taking the first step from the skybridge onto the plane... I think those weeks leading up to travel can be agonizing depending on whatever else you have going on in your life. FFS is also a big deal for most people. I don't think your experience is uncommon... for some it's easier than for others. In my case, once I was on my plane to Spain, the world turned a beautiful technicolor and seemed quite heavenly. All ducks were in order, things at home were fine, all that stuff... so I was at peace. The days toward getting to the plane though were a completely different story. :)

Simply no doubt.
Had two facial surgeries. The last one 19 mos ago. Had brow bossing, rhino, hair line lowered and rejuvinating lift. Both times there was no pain just discomfort, bruising and swelling. Generally for ffs they detatch the skin and the nerves are severed and takes 3 mos to a year to regain most of the feeling back. The surgeon at PAI Dr Sutin said that the pian would be minimal, if any for that reason. Have a safe trip.
Thanks so much all,
All such good advice,
I am focusing on the end goal which getting me through, I keep that image in my head and I can't wait to get on that plane and get the ball in motion.
It is so exciting and I am so lucky to be able to afford this surgery as I know how much of a struggle it is to get to this stage.
