Title: Advice on Revision FFS with Pics
Post by: sh1982 on September 20, 2017, 04:32:54 PM
Hey everyone,

I had partially ffs done earlier this year, i had my jaw/chin done and had forehead work with hairline advancement and will get a lift done to the lower face later this year.I already decided that i want to get further scalp advancement done since they only lowered my hairline 1 cm but  i am still debating whether i need to do more forehead work in addition to the revision hairline line lowering and i would like your opinion.Personally i would like to have it flatter so that my nose flows better into my forehead if you know what i  mean but i am not sure how much flatter my forehead can get? I probably will also get further jaw and chin work done in Korea probably v-line and a further set back of my lower jaw. You can find my photos here https://www.flickr.com/photos/152319566@N03/37163667166/in/dateposted-public/ and https://www.flickr.com/photos/152319566@N03/37211029311/in/dateposted-public/ these pictures we taken after the surgeries i had earlier this year. Please let me know what you guys think! Sam

By the coloration of the scar, I'd say you haven't fully healed from surgery #1 yet.  I wouldn't do anything at all until you can see the final result.

Hey Maddy,

Surgery was in April but i usually take longer to completely heal because of i am not of Caucasian descent, the pics were take about 6 weeks ago since then the redness has almost faded away

Great!

I think your facial structure screams "female" already, and anything else you would do at this point would be gravy.  I'm not sure what there is to lift, but give it 20 years and there will be plenty.

You look 100% female. If you want to change the nose/ forehead angle a radix nasal implant would be the best option. I wouldn't touch the forehead as it looks perfect to me. Hairline lowering will make your forehead appear more vertical also. Your chin looks feminine enough and getting v shaped chin may make you look "plastic" In case you really want it get it done but consider the possibility of looking plastic. I think that the best in the business for forehead lowering and radix nasal implants is Dr Mayer in California but I don't think he is a good option for aggressive chin work. I wish you best of luck.

IMHO your profile looks great. You have a very female/feminine forehead at this point. Even those of us who get forehead reconstruction don't often get that same look and still end up with more of a sloping forehead that is more of a male characterization.

You might consider hairline transplants instead of another scalp advancement. Something to look into anyway.

I wouldn't do anymore more to your forehead -- looks perfect.  I don't think you can get more female than that. In fact flattening it might make it more more male.  Just my opinion.

Thanks everybody for your input and will leave my forehead alone sometimes i am just to critical i guess. But i will certainly will do something about my hairline again i am leaning to go to dr Aharonov (http://draharonov.com) his work seems to be very good and his scars seems to heal very nicely, anyone by any chance has any experience with him? Hair transplants would be a option to Debra but it take so long before the hair grows back. And reborn that you so much for the tip on the radix nasal implants that is what is was looking for, will certainly look into Dr Mayer for this but i personally would prefer a real rhinoplasty expert like dr Denenberg since so many girls seems unhappy about their nose work when done by a FFS doctor.

Dr Mayer is world renown for noses. You can't go wrong with him when it comes to noses.
