Title: FFS in a WEEK!
Post by: Jandy on October 01, 2017, 02:48:52 PM
Hey Everyone,

I have posted about my upcoming FFS before, I am heading off to Olmec in Delhi from the UK on Sunday (FFS Booked for October 10th)

Now that its fast approaching, I can't stop researching the aftermath pain! Even though its been months in the planning and well thought out, I am starting to feel ever so anxious. I'm having trouble sleeping and staying calm.

Everything is ready to go and I am taking lots of time out after the surgery so there is no exacting pressure.

From what people say, it goes from the first day is hell to no pain at all, I suppose pain is subjectional , I keep focusing on the aftermath and the results which is getting me through but can't help but panic. I am having the below procedures, I wondered if anyone has had the same done all at once ? And what their experience was ?

1. Forehead feminization
2. Nose feminization
3. Malar (cheek ) implants
4. Chin  shaving
5. Jaw line correction
6. Tracheal shave (Adam's apple)
7. Lip Lift

Most likely you will not experience some severe pain, but expect a lot of swelling and bruising. It can all be done at once. Will you post your results as not much info is available about olmec online?

That's an ambitious list.  I did everything but #6, but I had BA simultaneously.  There were some tough days, but much of that owes to the fact that I get really sick on narcotics.  I just don't tolerate them at all.  That said, even in the worst of my pain, I believed in what I had done, and accepted my discomforts as a price worth paying.

You will have internal incisions on both your upper and lower lips, and efforts to keep pressure on your chin are probably going to worsen the swelling in your mid face.  If your nose is splinted (likely), you will also need to deal with congestion and mouth breathing for awhile, although I have been fairly lucky in that regard.  It was minimal.  Your upper lip will swell more than you can imagine, and this, along with your mouth incisions, is a pretty rough combo.

For me, the pain was worst on days 2/3 and the swelling maximal on days 3/4.  Today is post op day 10, and I'm not beyond the pain, but I'm beyond the distress of the pain.  Completely.

Eyes on the prize, sister--you'll do great!

I am very interested in your experience and results. I just sent them pics tonight for some soft tissue and fat revision work I need done from extensive FFS I had a year ago from someone else.

Use cold compresses for the first 3 days.
Keep compression on the facial area.
I needed antacids for the oxi.
Eat soft foods like eggs and soup.
Rest and try to lay down for 3 days (helps with swelling).

When you take the bandages off it will be very ugly from the blood, stitches, bruising and swelling. I was not prepared.

I'm excited for you. They have done a lot of surgeries and how many times a surgeon has done a procedure correlates highly with a successful surgery. I am trying to keep my expectations real and know I am not going to wake up as a 25 year old air-brushed model I saw in Cosmo.

Peace out Girl Scout
