Post by: sid104 on October 05, 2017, 10:52:35 AM
Just had my first laser hair removal session on my face today...oh my it hurts so much that i asked doctor to skip lips part even that was included in the price.doc said dont shave because the new hairs will be thick,,,weird.Anyway She didnt told about any numbing cream to lessen the pain.I cant tolerate that pain.also its half the price than the expensive laser clinic offer in that city which i wonder i went for ipl

I just had my first one yesterday, and even with numbing cream it still hurt.

Mine cost 180 for 8 sessions, but in Atlanta it was like 200$ per session or so, regardless of the business. As long as the actual machine is new and one of the better ones, it doesn't really matter. Do you know what kind of machine/laser they used?

Numbing cream brand was plum smooth.

And idk about non-sweeping or whatever. I just know the particular names to look at that are used.

Go to your local store and buy aspercreme or even the store brand topical anesthetic  with 4% lidocaine. That is the active ingredient in Plum numb cream and its less than half the selling price.

I searched on internet about lidocaine and the side effects are horrible.I asked doc about numbing cream and she said no.there could be some reason otherwise nobody can see their patient in pain
