Title: Religious liberty law
Post by: Artesia on October 14, 2017, 08:05:16 PM
I just finished reading the "Memorandum for all executive departments and agencies", of Mr. Sessions under the direction of Trump.  I have an answer:

We should create the first church of LGBTQ.  Then if they fire us, it is religious discrimination.  They often mention fervently held beliefs, even if it is at odds with the religion that the person belongs to.  I hold a strong belief that I should have been born a female.  I believe that the Gods and Goddesses graced me with the life I have and the right to change my gender.

I'm sure that they will find a way to deny this religion.  I am really waiting on one of Trumps lackey's to get denied service by a Muslim or Hindu who refuse to partake in selling them pork or beef for consumption.

Like this

A Missouri woman who is an adherent of the Satanic Temple won a victory in court last week in her quest to show that state abortion law violates her religious beliefs.

I respect the fact that we all have the right to worship who we want and I like that about America..... that being said it sucks that people can use that as a reason to discriminate against us. I get that enough when I travel to the middle east as property. now in America its suddenly ok again?

Live and let live.  I affirm your right to believe what you will.  Just don't tell me that your beliefs restrain my choices.  Faith is a personal experience.  Law is a social contract.  May they never be confused or conflated.

Too late.

That's exactly what has happened.
