I am panicking as I leave for a 32 hour flight to get FFS and fat transfer to my bottom in less than 48 hours time!!
What kind of things should I pack for my recovery as I will be on my own for the ten days in a foreign country.
So far I have some basics like:
- Oversized pj's and fluffy socks for my feet in bed
- Hand sanitizer,tooth brush etc and scented body wipes as I can not shower for a few days I heard
- Memory foam pillow for my head to be raised
- Laptop and a novel as I am a bit of an introvert
- Sunscreen and tinted BB cream because I still need to look good :P
- few hundred in correct currency in case I need supplies
- Photos of my two little babies (son and daughter) aged 10 and 12 who I will miss when they stay with my mum
- flats for footwear
At this point panic kicked in so I am drawing up a blank on what to pack outside of clothing which is going to be a mix of things.

I would have anti acids for the oxi,
some Neosporin,
Q-tips,
something to put ice into. They make flat bags.
I guess you can not take any food with you. I would get cheese, soup and eggs (easy to get into your mouth and does not require a lot of chewing).

I got thin pretzels that I was able to get into my mouth and soften before chewing. I ate soft cheese and eggs and had soup. In a few days you will be able to eat better but it is important to eat during recovery.
Consider light entertainment. Between the pain medication and the pain it's often difficult to concentrate but boredom will still set in. Games that don't require intense concentration, light reading, movies and music are good if you have an interest in them. Also check out any power converters you might need to keep your equipment operational. Not all of us run on the same power or use the same pug to get the stuff out of the wall. Most modern power converters will run on 120 and 240 but check to make sure.

I am a fan of not packing too much bulk stuff if it is available there. Like food and drink. My biggest bag in the suitcase is usually cosmetics - sunscreen, hormones, lotions, pills, vitamins, Cotton pads, my favourite shampoo, shaver for legs and armpits... Clothing of course depends on where you go to and the local climate. I think it makes sense to take comfortable clothing. Since its also fat transfer, take clothing that cover most of the body as usually it means you have to wear "shapewear" and this does not always look so great with shorts or short dresses. If its sunny, maybe a hat? Scarfs and sunglasses are always good if you want to hide a bit because you are still swollen or bruised. Hair ties or clamps. Maybe instant coffe in case the hotel has only horrible coffee - lol.
Pack top clothes with broad necklines so you can pull them over without squeezing your face or shirts with buttons or zippers that you don't need to pull over your head at all.
Face and bottom in the same surgery? I am curious to know what is the right position to rest that your doctor recommends? wouldn't it hurt both face up and face down? :( When I got butt augmentation I was advised to rest only on my belly because pressure wasn't good for the fat to take, and when I got FFS was advised the opposite... but in fact, the advise was actually redundant since I couldn't have done otherwise because of pain.
