... when my only troubles were gender troubles!
It is as if I have left the high school of life, and now I am in the college of shenanigans.
As my family, my partner and I all get older ... and face all the tough stuff that comes with age ... looking back transition was so easy.
It's an odd place to be. Guess I'm finally an adult. Transition helped me mature a lot ... toughened me right up ... and I'm glad I looked at it that way during the process ... as an opportunity in disguise ...
Because I can guarantee ... it doesn't stop there! The world carries on regardless of my being trans ... I barely have time to think about my gender anymore with everything else happening to the people I love.
I have sorted myself out ... and I'm grateful I had the chance ... now its my turn to step out and face a world with a twisted sense of humour ...
Conquering what feels difficult in our present can really set us up for the future. Now I know that to be true.
A lot of words of wisdom here. But the bottom line is you said "Shenanigans". Everyone get your brooms! :laugh:
