Title: FaceApp
Post by: Randi Just Is on October 27, 2017, 02:22:01 PM
I just downloaded FaceApp for the first time. I've seen if being popular in the trans community. Woo, finally jumping in on the self acceptance of my appearance then the sadness at realizing that it's not actually my face.  :(

Update: Not as good as I thought it was XD

You are FTM right? Unfortunately, the "Male" filter is pretty bad. It is closer to "neanderthal" a lot of times, and you have to really find the right angle regardless for the app to apply it correctly (same for the female ones though). Also, I don't think it works quite as well on younger people in general for whatever reason (which given you posted in the youth talk forum I am assuming you are younger than 18), as in tests I found it is much less effective on my younger sister than other, older family members.

Yea, and younger than 18. You're right about the Neanderthal look too. Aha.
