Title: Happy Halloween Everyone
Post by: Cindy on October 31, 2017, 03:12:50 AM

I hope those of you going to a party have a great time and for those who are not have a great time as well.

As for most of the world that haven't got a clue about why the USA and now Australia celebrate Halloween, I have no idea.

But I did my bit and covered my breathing stoma with a scary picture. People were far more scared when I removed it  >:-)

Laurie is a stick in the mud, you should have asked me.

We celebrate Halloween because it's a long time between Labour Day and Thanksgiving. All work and no play makes Devlyn a dull boy/girl thing.  :)

Hugs, Devlyn

Halloween comes from the Celtic holiday of Samhain 2000 years ago. The Christians made it into Halloween when they were converting the druids to Christianity.

That's not to far off on how Christmas, in it's current form, was created.
