Title: A Simple Kindness
Post by: Complete on November 09, 2017, 05:26:52 PM
So l am currently stranded in one of the satellite terminals at LAX. MAJOR YUCK!  So l just got off a great cruise and my husband has been exceptionally amorous. So...l've been "leaking". It's one of the side effects of colonovaginoplasty. I leak after sex.Usually it's not much and l usually have pads. Not today and l have been leaking alot.
The bad news is their are no sanipads available for sale. So now the good news. The airline provides greeters or guides to help passengers find their way around. In desperation l approached one asking where I might find what l needed. She informed me that there were none for sale in this terminal but she had some in her bag.
What  a sweet heart. What a relief!  Thank you Jesus for kind women and small favors.

The simple gestures always seem so much more poignant. I suppose it's because that they are rarely something the other person could gain anything from, and so you know they are genuine. (As opposed to, say, a billionaire donating to charity, in which he receives a tax break or publicity. Sure it's a great gesture, and may be genuine compassion, but it is still suspect. Something like this? Not suspect at all, just kind.)

In spite of all of the horrors that dominate the "If it bleeds it leads" 24 hour news cycle I still believe that there are many good people in the world that will reach out to assist a total stranger with a random act of kindness. This story a perfect example of that kindness.  Thank you for sharing it!  :)
