Title: Extraaction intro
Post by: extraaction on November 14, 2017, 01:34:39 PM
Hello.......Ive been asked to do an introduction, so here goes.  Im in my late twenties with two young children that I am mothering, though technically I am their father.  There is some evidence that points to the possibility that I am a pseudohermaphrodite, though I cannot confirm nor dismiss this possibility.  I have been living as a woman for eight years, and took hormones for twoish years.  Most of the rest of the time I have used plant based estrogens and antiandrogens, herbal endocrine balancers, and consuming raw ovary and adrenals from rabbit, chicken and cow. Between all the above options, based upon availability I have achieved a great deal of increased feminization about on par with what could be expected from RX hormones.  Poverty has been a barrier to healthcare I have managed to overcome with resoursefulness.

I have very libertarian values, and I thrive upon sharp wit and blunt truth, and I have come here in search of information, mental stimulation, and to challange myself with opinions that are drastically different from my own.

I have enjoyed what I have read here thus far and hope that I will be well tolerated within this community

Hello Extraaction, welcome to Susan's!

I started  HRT in July and handled mine through prescriptions.  Depending on which country you are in it may be possible to obtain HRT at reduced or zero cost - some places provide this, and some do not.

As for parenting, I believe the most important thing is being an excellent parent regardless of gender.  I admire how each generation is leaving behind more of the outmoded social constraints we have faced in the past with gender identity.  I literally look forward to the future, and glad you're here!

Thanks for your input, but where I am, there is no kind of financial help for medical costs.  I've gone to one doctor twice in the last decade, both times related to RX hormones.  I've since given up on synthetic estrogen for more reasons than one and I've become quite fond of my self reliance.  Honestly I'm so thrilled with cycling low dose glandular therapy and a homemade highly concentrated miroestrol transdermal lotion that I highly doubt I'll go back to the RX's.

As for the parenting, I do the best I can.  My methods may be a tad unorthodox, but in truth the last thing the world needs is more of the same.

anyway, thanks for the welcome Kendra
