We have many discussions about passing here on this forum. I completely understand people's reasons for needing to pass, especially given safety concerns, etc, so that they can live in this world as it is now, and I acknowledge and respect everyone's choices as to what is right for them.
What can we do to create a world in which it is possible to safely live as ANY gender identity or expression, regardless of whether or not the person passes within the binary, completely accepted in society for the wonderful and unique being that they are?
Let's come up with things that we can each do to create a safe planet for us all.

first we could start by respecting people for WHO they are, not by WHAT sex they are. i work at a place where i see all different kinds of people everyday i work and i respect each one for their courtesy to come bless me with their presence and business. i say judge others based on how YOU want to be judged.
Let me see, I think war would be the first thing that needs to be stopped. Killing and other undesirable acts next. Acceptance is lower on the list. I do not think it will happen in my lifetime.

unfortunately war can and never will be stopped either. Just part of life it seems these days, as is the problem with acceptance and being able to freely express yourself.
The whole war thing upsets me deeply... My mother says it's human nature, I'd like to believe that people could actually communicate with each other and figure out ways to resolve our differences... but history doesn't give me much hope. We just keep finding better, more efficient ways to kill each other. :(
