Title: Questions about boobulation
Post by: AnamethatstartswithE on December 04, 2017, 07:14:25 PM
Alright so I've been on hormones since the end of August, and my boobs are starting to become breast shaped. It feels like they're pointing outwards too much. I'm assuming that as they fill out that won't be as pronounced. Though I do worry that it might be due to my rib cage being too large. Also due to this outward pointing my arms bump them A LOT. When do they stop just hurting and become more sensitive?
Title: Re: Questions about boobulation
Post by: KathyLauren on December 04, 2017, 07:27:04 PM
I have been on HRT since January.  Hurting is good, because it means they are still growing.  (Unless you bonked them, in which case if means be more careful!)  A padded bra will make them less susceptible to bumping, as well as having other advantages.

Having widely-separated breasts is just a fact of life for trans women, due to the larger-than-cis rib cage.  Just one more thing to make bra-fitting more diffficult; sigh.  I don't know about them pointing outwards, but it is likely due to the shape of your rib cage.

The constant low level pain and sensitivity caught me by surprise. Its quite distracting. Since I tower over most females the only way I can see to balance the look is hope they keep growing big enough to look right on my big rib cage.

I relished it when the low level pain and sensitivity started. It was a constant reminder of progress being made.

It stops and starts again from time to time and each time it starts I can see more progress.

I suspect the padded bra might be helpful, but my personal preference is no padding.

Best wishes
Denise

Yes, they start out being more pointy than the shape they will be. As far as the pain subsiding, it comes and goes as you continue growing. I don't there is a specified time for them to stop hurting, since it is different for all of us. So take happiness in the pain because it means you are growing in the area you would like!!!!

My wife laughs at me because every time I accidentally hit my boob on something and it hurts, at first I say "Ow!" but then I get this feeling of utter happiness as I know they hurt because they are growing, and she knows I LOVE that.

My boobs also seem to be a little further apart from each other than I would prefer, but as has been mentioned, I recognize that this is due to the shape of my rib cage.  It's just one of those things us transwomen have to deal with and it sucks.  I just measured across my chest, and I have 9.25 inches from one nipple to the other.  Interesting.  I wonder how that compares to other transwomen and ciswomen.

Mine are the same way, and it's pretty difficult to get them together for some nice cleavage.
Even if you don't need the support, I highly recommend wearing a bra of some sort. Any extra padding will help if you bump them (and you will!).
Denise is correct, the general pain & irritation comes and goes, but bumping them never doesn't hurt (so far).

8 1/2" for me, 5'11", medium shoulder broadness, next to no muscle mass.  I'm a AAA after 5 months.  These things take time, and more estrogen doesn't speed things along if your levels are those of a female's; throwing in progesterone can round things out, according to some.

Spent a little while trying to figure out typical distances for GG's; a Chinese beauty contest was criticized for rejecting contestants under 7.8" or so.  A few links were aimed at artists, like this:  Human Anatomy Fundamentals: Muscles and Other Body Mass (https://design.tutsplus.com/articles/human-anatomy-fundamentals-muscles-and-other-body-mass--vector-22756)  Semi NSFW, if your employer is prudish about sketches.  If they can't handle a sketch of the female form they're probably not ready for having a transsexual around, I reckon...

Well this topic took a strange turn. I measured mine and it's a bit over 10" though I guess I have quantum boobs because I think moving my arms to measure them changes the outcome.

Thanks for the quantum boobs comment, it made me laugh! I had a root canal a few hours ago and needed something to cheer me up.

I'm 6' 1", almost a 36A and my nipples are about 8.75 inches apart. I started on estradiol only in March and did get a little growth, but once spiro was added they started growing much more quickly. They do hurt most of the time, but the pain just makes me smile! I keep thinking of the saying 'Smile, it makes people wonder what you are up to!'

Do the nipples get closer together at all as the boobs grow or is pre-HRT nipple measurement consistent you think?

Staying mostly on topic, I measured out at 10 1/2" nip to nip.  What a freak.  More troubling to me is the difference in size.  Left (my dominant side) is bigger.  In a minute i wander away to ponder this.
But first!
To drive this topic way off the path I did a quick internet machine search via the google gods.
Came up with this ditty:
boobulation
v. (boob / ū / lá / shun) 1 : stimulation of boobular unitalia
So we snuck behind the bushes and I had me some quality boobulation time with my girlfriend. She's totally boobular.
#breast stimulation#bubulation#grope#2nd base#felt up

There are conjugations and tenses possible but this seems to be a bit and there are slightly different definitions possible.
Alphabetical list

    Boobtuber
    Boob Tubing
    boobtum
    boobturd
    boob twerk
    Boob Twerking
    BoobTwizzle
    boob-type
    boobtyping
    boo bug
    boobukkake
    boobula
    boobular
    boobularity
    Boobular Unit
    boobulation
    boobulicious
    boobulon
The thing that struck me is it is actually old, 2010 -11 time frame.

I guess there is nothing new in the world except joining the pen 15 club.  Then again many here wont want to join it.

I thought this song had "boobacological" in it; turns out it was "breasticaboobical," along with about 30 other silly neologisms.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ePusmtf1IQ

So the perfect TS has nipples close together, high 2D:4D ratio, and forearms facing outward.  Got it.

Oh my, measuring my nipple spread made me curious as to how far they protrude out from my chest

I came up with a 9.5" spread x with a 3" protrusion

Pretty sure there is a mathematical formula in that somewhere  :eusa_think: Oh Albert Einstein you left us too soon

Interesting topic you started AnamethatstartswithE. :)  Mine are 9.5" apart.

I'm on low dose now, my breasts are still slowly growing.  I wonder over time if this number will stay the same, get smaller or get larger.  You would think that if fat and breast tissue accumulated equally the nipples would go farther apart, but I always thought that breasts tend to point more forward as they develop.

Maybe someone can point me in the right direction on this ;)

Oh the pain!  The price of change.  I found a padded pushup bra to be most helpful at protecting.  I found it funny that for some time, I felt so clumsy with them too.  Kind of like when I grew out my fingernails.  All those years you grow up with little to no nails and flat chested.  Then one day there's something there.  I felt like I had to learn how to pick up things differently, button my blouse differently, type differently etc. with nails.  Likewise, with new growth out front, taking a turn around the corner without bumping etc. became different.

Isn't it amazing that we humans have taken the time to measure, calculate, and record averages etc. for things on the human body like nipple spread, finger lengths, arm spans etc.???

Growing boobs can be painful at times.. My friend told me, noleen growing boobs is not for babies. she give a little giggle when I use to say ow..

She bought me some padded bras to help..and they did for accidental knocks. But did not mind the pain, as it meant they were growing. There days my breasts really hurt.

center to center I'm at 9.25", and i wear a 38C bra. In 10 more days I'll have been on HRT for 5 months! That C cup isn't from HRT though, I've had boobs since like 3rd grade lol, I've always been big but my chest has always been perkier than most moobs. The HRT only started actual breast development maybe 2 months ago or so, they've been sore for a while now to the point where I have to wear a sports bra when I go jogging at the park

38C here, mine push together rather easily now and I rarely ever have any of that initial soreness anymore so I think mine are pretty well set

Sometimes when I get out of the shower I look at them and think "My but I have developed some rather boobulisious boobulation" but then reality hits and I think "Meh, just average"

I wish I had some cleavage to show!  But I agree with the sentiment.  They are my own home-grown breasts and I like them.  Even though they are little, I don't think I want BA surgery.  I like the fact that they are all mine.  They are bigger than those of some cis women I know, and I can look perfectly nice and shapely with a simple padded bra like other women wear.

This was a topic about boobs, which you replied to a post saying "pointing in different directions' with "exactly on point". A rimshot is a comedic device (the little drum roll) used to punctuate a joke, which I referenced as a tongue in cheek, playful way of connecting your phrasing to the topic in what was supposed to be lighthearted manner. The whole boobs coming to a point thing.

No need to apologize, misunderstandings happen! I'm sorry that even if due to a misunderstanding I triggered anything because of a stupid joke. <3!

I will add my two sense my nipples are  11 inches apart...geez....and one is  waaaay bigger than the other one.  I can fill a 38B bra  ok but the right titty is smaller but more defined  I kinda of just stick to seamless sportsbras though. in the Large  size.

Out of curiosity, I measured.  Mine are 9 inches even apart.
