I found that video in some ways more fascinating to watch than a vaginaplasty. There is really so little tissue to create male genitalia from female genitalia. It is such a work of art and sculpture that is the surgeons skill to create it. I can certainly understand the issue of identity that FTM's go through that drive them to such lengths.
I found it very beautiful, really. Because you know that when Charlie woke up he had so much of his identity complete. He may not have cried from happiness being a guy, but I know he would have had a big smile on his face!
Thanks, Tink. It's so rare that we get to see such videos. It was very enlightening.

You're welcome, Sandy. I am not sure if a vaginectomy is part of a metoidioplasty or a completely different procedure. I have to look it up.. :)

I think it's either, Tink. It's apparently a highly risky operation, so a lot of surgeons don't do a vaginectomy when they do the meta.

Thanx princes :) :) :) yep bowers first on my list for hysto & meta next year.
whoo hoo :icon_dance:
uhhhhhh how exactly can one remove a vagina? didn't watch the video. had a pap smear this morning. this is one of the rare things i'm squeamish about. ok, i get that they 'sew it up' to do a meta, but how would removing it be possible? i mean is it the removal of the lips or what? yooouuuccchhhh!
