That wasn't as bad as I imagined it.. Granted I am sure there was a LOT that was not put in this video.. the overall idea wasn't what I pictured. And for only 3 hours? Definitely not that bad.

i like that this video just shows you the procedure, and how it's really not that big of a deal. other srs videos are too dramatic.

Dr. Bowers is a wonderful woman. If you ever get the chance to just hang out with her, make sure you do so!

Kat, when is your surgery (or are you postop?) Mine is set for July 23rd, 09. And yes, being in the wrong body hurts far worse than this surgery, from what I've heard.

I have seen a 6 min fast-forward video of the entire 3.5 hr surgery before, performed by Dr. Bowers. It's quite amazing. Does anyone have a link to this, by any chance?

Rebecca xoxo

I have heard wonderful things about Dr. Bowers as well.  As a matter of fact, I have a close friend who had her SRS with her sometime ago, and she adores her!  :)

I wish I could find the link you talk about.  Many moons ago I watched a 60-minute tape where Dr. Biber performed several SRS procedures, including two revisions on a patient who had originally had her SRS in Thailand.  And yes indeed, I completely agree with you; it is an amazing transformation; a miracle all in itself, and some of us are extremely thankful for having been part of that miracle in our lifetime! :).  Congratulations on your upcoming SRS BTW!
