Last month, four of the five board members joined a federal lawsuit challenging the new law as unconstitutionally vague and a violation of privacy rights.
Because, to them, only straight students matter.
San Diego can be rather conservative on certain issues.

They are sending exactly the message they want: They hate LGBT children and think that it is okay to beat someone for being different.
You got it LIT. We don't matter.

They seem to have the idea that it is all about boys wanting to dress like girls to go peek in rest rooms. I find that the most offensive part of it.

They believe that is what we want to do because THEY have wanted to do it at least one point in their lives. We are different, so they need reasons to exclude us from their society. This minority hatred has played out over and over through history. Fortunately, in many places and countries, we are more inclusive. Unfortunately, recent trends in religious zealotry have created a resurgence of minority hate. And no, it isn't just the radical Muslims. I feel that our home grown bigots are just as dangerous.
