Title: Being Trans and Plus Size
Post by: rainecloude on December 14, 2017, 08:38:52 AM
Hi Girls & Guys,

I am 7 months on HRT and I have noticed that I have had quite a different experience with HRT than some of my skinny girl counterparts.

I had a largish chest to start with due to being overweight but my breast growth has molded them into a full b-c which is unheard of with smaller girls.

I also think I grew hip and butt fat and my shape became super curvy for me and I wonder if this has to do with having more fat to redistribute? Any plus size girls out there have a similar experience?

Any other interesting ways weight plays with HRT?

You have developed some nice curves for 7 months, is a real plus for passing nicely.

Weighing in at 244 pounds at 6 foot 1 I find that fat tends to redistribute a bit easier. Its all been moving from the belly area to where I want it to be. In addition having already existing man boobs they just reshaped and are a nice b/c already. In addition the cycling muscles in my legs along with fat redistribution make for a pleasingly female shaped bottom half.  I've managed to get down from 264 pounds and plan on trying for 195ish. Going to take another 3-4 months to reach that goal. To me, the fact you already have a bit of excess fat helps. My biggest issue right now is the fact that I still have a lot of muscle. Not so bad for legs, but arms look a bit out of place! I've managed to fit a 16/18 womens size in most things and my old mens xl stuff fits pretty well now.

Interestingly, as compared to 3 months ago, I don't look fat. All the redistribution hides the fact that I still need to get rid of another 40 pounds or so. I'd say that starting larger makes it a bit easier. Especially since Spiro knocks the desire to eat much at all out of you, so its almost impossible not to lose weight.

At my peak I was 365. Started 2017 at 285, now I am 240. As I have said elsewhere I had gynocomastia since 13 and had breast growth while on testosterone therapy. Since being on estrogen for 7 months I wear a 38GG in UK bras. I don't think they are done yet but who knows anymore. A bit of movement in the trunk and slimming waste but that is about it. I wear a 24 top for chest space and 18W pants at the moment. I go full time in 30 days and counting! Nervous excited about it but moving out of my home at the same time so that dampens the excitement.
