So I'm home on a Saturday waiting to go see Star Wars today and because I have to take my daughter to cheer practice - it seems that other kids parents can't give rides to teammates- but that's a whole other rant.
In any case- I wanted to lighten the mood a little and get to know everyone a little more;
So here's a little game- if it's been done before, I apologize. Consider this 2.0. 🤷🏼♀️
Talk about yourself a little. I'll start
Hobbies- I've collected comics for 35 years or so- that includes anything that goes along with comic books and superheroes - statues, comic art etc. it gets costly, especially when you're chasing down key issues-I'm on eBay a lot. 🤦🏼♀️
I'm a runner and biker- cardio fiend. I love the way it makes me feel. Helps me maintain my figure too. [emoji1381]♀️
I love tech too. Everything Apple-
Movie you could watch over and over-Tie: Captain America- Winter Soldier or Captain America-Civil War. Never get tired of Either.
When you close your eyes who do you see?
Scarlett Johanessen (as Black Widow; maybe because of what I do). Maybe Megyn Kelly ( but a little more demure) or Jennifer Anniston. Crazy right?
Favorite color-Don't really have one
Favorite band/music- grew up listening to Hair Bands, Mötley Crüe was my fave. Tastes have broadened as I've gotten older.
What do you do when you're not doing anything else? Veg. Contemplate everything that goes on around me.
Add a category if you'd like.
Now you-Go!

Hobbies- I like everything physical fitness. Right now I'm trying to see how strong I can get in powerlifting while on HRT. My ulterior motives there though are to build bigger glutes :-), and to maximize my lower body strength for my first love which is:
I'm a runner too and have run three marathons. The last one in 2012 I missed my Boston Qualification time by only two minutes when my hamstring locked up bad at mile 25. One of these days I'll get back to it and in the meantime run enough to do the long slog of slowly building my base.
I also listen to a lot of audiobooks, mostly when I'm running. I'll pick an interest and listen until I run out of books to listen to. Earlier this year that interest was diet and its relation to health. Lately I've been hopping back and forth between spiritual, history, and political books.
Movie you could watch over and over- I like historical movies involving medieval Europe. My favorite was King Arthur, the 2004 version. A close second is The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc.
When you close your eyes who do you see?
Keira Knightley in the movie King Arthur. I like hard core warrior women, LOL.
Favorite color- It's Red.
Favorite band/music- mmmmmmm, this is a hard one because I listen to a pretty wide range of music from Gothic Metal to Reggae. But if I'm going to list favorites that has to include Fleetwood Mac, Lana Del Rey, Bob Dylon, and John Lennon.
What do you do when you're not doing anything else? Play with my iPhone. I'm an addict. So I might read forums or the news, watch YouTube on interesting topics, look up stuff I'm interested in, and in the evening watch a couple of hours of Netflix. Unfortunately, my love of iPhone gets in the way of my need to sleep. I need to work on that.

Fun, post, I love to learn more about others too. Here's mine.
Hobbies- I have too many hobbies, but I will list only my latest. I design and build pinball and arcade machines from scratch. I have to model, 3d print, cnc, forge in metal, program, wire, you name it. I'm a jack of all trades for my hobbies. Other notable hobbies are I play guitar, and violin, and love doing my nails.
Movie you could watch over and over- Flash Gordon, I've seen it over 200 times, met Sam Jones, swoon.
When you close your eyes who do you see?
Still trying to figure this out
Favorite color- Red, or pink. Mainly red.
Favorite band/music- Favorite is Styx, seen them a dozen times, had all their records, Now have all their cds. Lately been getting into Muse.
What do you do when you're not doing anything else? probably sleeping. If I'm awake, my brain won't stop and I have to be always creating something, changing a design, completing a game in my head, thinking of the next project. It's my vice, but I love it.
Bari Jo
Hobbies- Airsoft, -playing guitar, cycling, a good read, movies - used to be action, now its more romantic ones, shopping (which I used to hate) is creeping in there as well. Love spending time with my wife and daughters. Research anything historical. I have a compulsion to learn something new every day. Learn languages - I'm fluent in English and Korean and am learning sign and Maori. Collect uni qualifications. I have one under grad in science and two graduate diplomas in HR/IT and Teaching. I suspect in a few years I'll get restless and do another.
Movie you could watch over and over- Battle of britain the one made in 1969, we were soldiers (LOVE the sound track),
When you close your eyes who do you see? A meandering stream in a pine forest, me and the family happily playing there.
Favorite color- Used to be blue, but times are a changing
Favorite band/music- grew up listening to Anything from the 60's to the late 80's.
What do you do when you're not doing anything else? Used to not be able to do nothing. Now more and more its listen to the world around think about the day that was.
Hobbies - Flyfishing and running. I also like to shoot, not so much hunting but targets and a little 3gun. I still occasionally play World of Warcraft.
Movie you could watch over and over- I like about anything Marvel but really like the Guardians of the Galaxy movies.
When you close your eyes, who do you see? - I'm assuming this means, who do I see myself as. And that would be Gal Gadot.
Favorite color - Probably pumpkin orange, I love fall.
Favorite band - Easily Pearl Jam
What are you doing when not doing anything else - Reading fiction or watching youtube.
Hobbies - I am a gamer first and foremost, but also a devotee of all forms of entertainment media. Movies, television, comics, novels, music... I love it all and have when time allowed consumed it all with a passion. (Unfortunately, my current schedule severely limits me on that.) I collect primarily games and game related collectibles (I have a Resident Evil Briefcase... a legitimate, high quality briefcase, imported from Japan, not cheap at all), though also have a Comic collection roughly 5k strong (that I want to sell so bad, so cumbersome and just asking for hurricane damage).
Movie you could watch over and over - I'll say Winter Soldier is up there for me as well, love that movie. But the big ones here? Die Hard and There's Something About Mary. I've seen both so many times and never get sick of them.
When you close your eyes, who do you see? - Hrrm, tough call. No one specific really.
Favorite Color - I like forest greens as well as purples. Not so much to wear, just in general.
Favorite band/music - 90's alternative and hard rock all the way. I can go a little punk with the skater bands like Blink 182, SR71, etc... Go a bit harder with (old school) Marilyn Mason and Filter... Relax a bit with more mellow Smashing Pumpkins and Everclear... Or just go down the ol' industrial rabbit hole with NiN and KMFDM. Moving towards the 2000's, I also love Panic at the Disco and the Killers, particularly when they hit that more 90's sound (honestly, I feel like music has not changed much in the past 20 years, so many of the same people directly involved even in modern pop).
What do you do when you're not doing anything else? - Well, technically whatever I'm doing at any given time is what I'm doing when I'm not doing anything else by definition. ;D But to actually answer the spirit of the question: Try to play one of the many games in my backlog or catch up on TV.
Hobbies- Fashion (only womens clothing) and womens beauty products and womens hair, I like dancing (only women dancing and in modern songs, mostly korean pop band girl songs), i like to watch korean tv series, as well as american (netflix) and Norwegian. I like being social and meet new people.
I like reading about different countries and cultures (Especially China, sad that they dont accept transgerderism and transexualism like here in the west yet).
Movie you could watch over and over- Unsure what to say. I like many movies. Romance, comedy, etc. The Truman Show with Jim Carrey is special for me, because its someone who lives in a world where that persons life is a reality show and every neighbour and coworker are actors, its a reality show getting played on real tv without the person knowing.
When you close your eyes who do you see?
Krystal Jung or some very pretty women.
Favorite color- Red and white
Favorite band/music-I listen Korean pop bands, Twice, Blackpink, i also like to american artist such as Demi Lovato, and Nowegian like Astrid Smeplass.
What do you do when you're not doing anything else?
Hmm, i am on this forum,a norwegian chatroom (irc quakenet), and a international chatroom (chatango). I go on instagram. And i surf on the web on my phone.
I'm waiting to be tired enough to sleep so
My hobbies are writing, writing and drawing comics when they're not paid ones, sculpting (when it's not a paid gig), playing piano, acting, diving, hunting. I collect knives and swords, rare books, and a few other kinds of junk. I guess it's become a hobby to listen to documentaries and political discussions while I'm at work - sculpting can be boring so I might as well learn something new every day while doing it. I want more time for reading but I have too much work on for it to be a regular hobby.
Movie I could watch over and over? The Big Blue.
Don't see anyone specific.
Fave colors are black, teal, red or grey. For some reason I dislike orange.
Fave music is probably rock, metal and classical
When I'm not doing anything else I'm thinking about stuff. Anything and everything. The mind goes everywhere.
Hobbies?
Writing, music, languages, playing the piano, games
Movie you could watch over and over-Tie:
Ocean's Eleven? (And many more: Gone in 60 seconds, Die Hard 1, Speed etc....)
When you close your eyes who do you see?
My SO.
Favorite color-
Purple! Obviously, ;).
Favorite band/music-
All kinds of. From Marilyn Manson to One Direction to Enrique Iglesias! AC/DC, Alice Cooper, Queen, Aerosmith etc. etc. I even like Kylie Minogue, ;)!
What do you do when you're not doing anything else?
Hang around here, obviously.
Hobbies- cooking and music. For cooking I really like baking and breakfast, but my real specialty is smoked bbq! For music I play guitar and bass and I have my own project recording studio. I've been playing in bands since I was 13 and I'm pretty active in the local punk music scene. I also listen to a ton of records :)
Movie you could watch over and over- I really can't pick just one! If I'm in a bummed out mood I could probably watch The Perks of Being a Wallflower over and over but if I'm in a more lighthearted mood then I could watch Return of the Living Dead a ton
When you close your eyes who do you see? no one really
Favorite color- green!
Favorite band/music- My biggest 2 bands are Green Day and the Ramones. I'm a huge fan of Punk Rock, mostly 90's stuff but I'm into a lot of 80's Hardcore Punk and I still listen to a lot of current bands. My favorite active bands are Green Day, Off With Their Heads, Against Me, and Night Birds.
What do you do when you're not doing anything else? Go for a walk or jog, watch a movie or tv, listen to records, play my guitar
Hobbies: biking, rollerblading, baking. Unfortunately the first two are warm weather activities that allows the third.
Movie to watch over & over: 40 years ago, it would have been the original Star Wars. (I paid 13 times in high school to see it) but today I'm unsure any movie could peak my interest to see it more than two or three times.
See in mirror: come on, all transgender people are narcissists. I see myself and the imperfections.
Color: I like a dark purple but my closet is mostly black and navy blue. Not a pastel fan in the way of clothes.
Band: ELO. The original brain child for ELO, Jeff Lynne, put a new band together and is touring in 2018. I already have my tickets. But that's from the past and today is a new era. I don't want to get stuck in my past so today I actually like some of the newer "pop" music. It's great to practice my voice and train a higher pitch to be natural.
When not doing anything: this is tough because the other answers here are... better than mine. When I'm wasting time I'm in social media. (I had 3 hours to kill on Friday at the airport, let's say I wonder if I blew my data plan)
What would I like to do more of: training/teaching/informing the general public about what it's like to be Trans. AND help others to realize their true self. Whether it's to transition or not, it's tough and I would like to help people in their journey.
I would also like to get together with friends more. I'm not good making plans a week or two out so I'm the queen of calling and saying "whatcha doin this afternoon?". Note: I spend a lot of afternoons with myself.

Hobbies: My main one is astrophotography. I wish our climate allowed me to do more of it. I like the blend of technology and art. Also shopping for second-hand clothes. If you'd asked me five years ago, I'd have vehemently denied all interest in such a girly thing. But damn, I like finding something gorgeous at a steal of a price!
Movie to watch over and over: Hmm. The majority of movies aren't worth watching once. The movie I've watched the most often is 2001: a Space Odyssey. I must have watched it at least eight times on the big screen (the bigger, the better), and numerous times on the small screen. I can spot all the technical flaws: Stanley Kubrick admitted to only one, but there are several. Still, amazing special effects for a pre-computer era. I also watched Apollo 13 quite a few times before my VCR died. Can you tell I'm a space nut? I grew up in the Mercury/Gemini/Apollo era, what can I say?
What I see when I close my eyes: The inside of my eyelids? Sorry, I tend to be a bit literal, a survival skill from my closeted days.
Favourite colour: ALL OF THEM!!! Especially purple. But not gray. Though gray can look good with a nice coloured scarf.
Favourite band / music: Oh, you know, Bach, Jimi Hendrix, that sort of thing. It would be a shorter list to say what I don't like: elevator music (anything boring), rap (It's called rap because the C is silent). My favourites at the moment for listening during my weekly torture (electrolysis) sessions are Winton Marsalis playing baroque trumpet (my god, I didn't know there were notes that high!), Carlos Santana, Eileen McGann (Irish-Canadian singer-songwriter)
What I'm doing when I'm not doing anything else: Hang out on Susan's, of course. Well, and a couple of other sites, too.
Hobbies: Gaming, though I don't have much time for it, and I don't want to get re-addicted. Love giant robot anime, and had a huge collection of figures & toys (of which I'm only keeping a select few once I manage to sell the rest). I love sci-fi & fantasy movies, shows, books, etc., huge fan of Star Wars, Star Trek, Babylon 5, and Godzilla (actually all Daikaiju / Giant Monsters). Also a huge MSTie (fan of Mystery Science Theater 3000), and of course love Rifftrax as well. I like superhero movies & animation, but not a fan of the comics themselves (it's the medium, not the quality - I really don't like constantly changing artists & writers).
Movie you could watch over & over: Pacific Rim - the greatest movie ever made or ever will be made (until Pacific Rim Uprising in February!!!).
When you close your eyes who do you see?: No one at the moment.
Favorite Color: Blue. No, green! WAAAAAHHH!!! (It actually is blue, but I can't resist the Monty Python reference.
Favorite Band/Music: I like all kinds of music, but I lean towards heavy metal. Favorite band is DragonForce (favorite song: Cry Thunder). I will add that my favorite Japanese band is JAM Project (Favorite song: Skill).
What do you do when you're not doing anything else?: Watch Netflix, surf the web, watch some of my fairly decent collection of movies & TV show DVDs & Blu-Rays.

I have the same issue (yay, another accidental pun!), and it's generally why I prefer manga over U.S. comics (or the more controlled and coherent worlds of the MCU and DCA(nimated)U). They used to be more coherent back in the 60s-early 90s, when the big names had pretty much absolute creative control (JACK KIRBY POWERS, ACTIVATE! FORM OF... DECENT WRITING!) but in the mid 90s they just became a nightmare of conflicting story lines and characterization that I couldn't stomach any longer, and endless failed reboots just leading to dumber and dumber overarching story lines.
