Yay! I'm copying the girls coz thought that's such a great post & we can't participate!!! So thought that we guys might need one too, ;)!
After all - nothing's better than to hear positive things from everyone!
Feel free - anything! What made you smile or happy today?
Feel free to post every single day if you like!
You girls go fill your own thread down there in the mtf section, ;)! This is for guys only - or any transmasculine whatever person there is!
I'll start:
You awesome people here again, as always ;).
Been referred to by guy terms today again!
I'm just so much at peace now you can't believe!!! I feel normal again.
Looks like I'll get all my orders for work done by Xmas. Not my favorite time of year for work but at least I'll be able to give myself a few days off over Xmas. (when I'll have to catch up on uni work but it's fun in comparison)
Being able to talk with my best friend today about my new name and pen name and that kind of good stuff. That was cool. I'll be submitting the legal name change stuff after Christmas.
(Jumping in with a general comment rather than a "happy today" reply... :P) Honestly, I've always wondered why the other thread was limited to mtf. Half or more of it is not even transition related. It's important to celebrate everyone being happy without boundaries, so glad you guys now have this thread! Kudos to Herr Wolf! I look forward to reading your tribulations. ;D
Meeting up with my trans friend Amy, who I haven't seen in months.
Hanging out here with you guys.... again, ;)
Viktor - your posts, ;)!
Helping others here, ;) as always.
This:
You're waiting to be yourself, and you want the world to see only yourself. I get that, totally. And when you do, you will be free.
Do it. Whenever is right for you. Do it and be free. I believe in you. :)
Thanks, Sephirah!!!
All your PMs, ;)!
Got called 'brother' by Ashley ;D ;D ;D!!! Gender euphoria!!!!!

I found out I have several powerful individuals backing me up from not having my company yank my job of twelve years out from under me.
Also, I've made the concrete decision to pursue a career in either welding, pipefitting, or HVAC moving forward. The new sense of direction feels nice.
My brother came to visit today!! I dont get to see him often
today? not much, but it was nice to feel rested when waking up for once, even if i did wake up extremely late. good thing i didn't have work today...

Cool! Just working out myself, right now, ;D
Several things:
1. Getting the $350 kilt we got my husband for xmas exchanged and seeing him finally be able to put it on. He looks SO GOOD in a utilikilt.
2. Killing time in a Target with him, browsing the men's section and me being able to tell him "I'm seeing a lot of stuff I want lol" and have him go "It's been that way for years, dear".
3. Spotting a sexy-effin' XJ while around town. It was all black with a single red pinstripe along the side, had a good few inches of lift and 33s or something. Clean and classy. I love it.
New friends, ;)
And a surprise message from an old acquaintance :D!
Well I have a surgical consultation coming up, but I'm not sure if they know what payment bracket I'm in so that's something to sort out. But that's sooner than I anticipated. Much sooner.
Buying some craft supplies. Talking to the admissions lady at my desired college.
after almost a month, i finally got around to scheduling my next appointment with the therapist. haven't had any time with the current work schedule and also being sick.
Visiting my grandmother in the nursing home. Getting a note in the mail so I can get an emotional therapy cat.
Got a new phone. Now I will be able to speak to the therapist for my 20 mins check up session without it running down on battery I hope.
I didn't have a good day today, but yesterday was my birthday and I came out to a conservative friend who I've known since second grade. She and her mom reacted great! ;D

Good for you and a belated Happy Birthday!
I scheduled my HRT consult with the clinic today! They provide therapy at the clinic so I do not need a referral from a separate therapist first. The appointment was actually supposed to be this afternoon (!!!), until she went to set the appointment up in the doctor's calendar and saw the doctor is on vacation this week. It was a bit of a letdown, but I'm still thrilled they have an opening next Monday that actually doesn't conflict with my crazy work schedule, so I only have to wait a week!
A fast food meal, and a good phone call with my Mom.
Getting paid
I got to work on my new sculpture project, set up a terrarium, and try a new bread recipe!
Finished a book then went for a long walk in a beautiful park. Maybe I'll get back to doing weights soon, but for now, cardio is where it's at and that's ok.
The arrival of my legal name change certificate. That was awesome.
Now starting to come out officially... that's more nerve-wracking. Off to notify HR today to being steps for my 'official' transition at work.
Came out for the first time. To an old ex that is now one of my most solid friends. He was awesome!
I'm not sure how, but I managed to get a private surgeon and private hospital for chest surgery via the NHS. Looks like it will all be sorted by the end of this month, and I'll have the surgery in March. Think I'll make it down to my ideal weight by then, or won't be far off it. Glad the uncertainty's over. Had my first consult chest photos taken and some discussion with the surgeon, so that's a weight off. Also managed to drive to the place and back without being stuck behind a farm vehicle or at roadworks.
My first top surgery consultation! AND HE TAKES MY INSURANCE :D I'm literally in his office right now.
My best friend accidantly (I'm not even out to her yet) calling me "him". Of course everybody laughed, nevertheless it just felt great 8)

Unbelievable...!
more mindblown than anything, but i had to record my name to set up my voicemail (still annoyed that it makes you do that instead of just having an option to have it state your phone number) and heard my voice for the first time since before starting T. i was aware it was changing, but i had never heard a recording of it and what you hear in your own head when you talk is always a bit different. i was expecting it to sound worse, more feminine than what i hear when i talk, since that's always been the case beforehand when i heard recordings of me. today i found out it was the opposite.

Hey that reminded me... :D
Once in school (I was around 15-16 I think) I answered some question in class. I always sat in the middle between the girls & boys :P
And then this one boy asked his friend, 'was that ---?' [one of the guys] And he was like, 'no! it was ---' [my girl name]; followed by an awkward silence...! >:-) That was damn funny!!! You know the boys had pretty low voices by that time & I was consciously lowering my voice so that felt pretty good! I guess I did a decent job then, ;)

I think I may be seeing someone, for the first time in ages. I don't want to jinx things by calling him my boyfriend, but I think I can call him "someone I'm going out with." At least he's made allusions to us seeing each other on an ongoing basis. Usually one date with me is all it takes for a guy to head for the hills. :p

Mine: Seeing people :) (went to an LGBT group)
It's starting to dawn on me not everyone hates me or what I represent... I've had some baaad experiences in the past. Now I'm not sure if it was the right thing to do to socially isolate myself like that... At least making friends seems to be as easy as ever for me! Always been pretty social so...! Okay have made one new irl friend so far... but being optimistic :)! Despite not seeing anyone for years talking to people seems to be as easy as it used to be - if not a lot easier!!! I've had difficulties in the past to get my voice heard in a group, now not so much.

Broke down and finally bought my Jeep a set of 30" BF Goodrich KO2 tires after getting a flat. They were expensive as hell and I'll be eating ramen for a while, but I'm SO happy. Only nice thing that's happened to me in a few weeks.
Got called "sir" at a restaurant by a woman looking directly at me... and she didn't correct herself after hearing me talk.

I finished planning a scout meeting a month before it is time.
It's a water activity. They will build a water track with toiletpaper rolls up a small hill. All help is accepted and they get to use anything they find to rise the track enough for the water to pour into a bottle at the end of the track.
If it rains the will build a marble track indoors.

Still can't push full arm mobility yet which is bothering me (pulls on the scars) but at least the healing's coming along good. There's some power in movement again, I can get out of bed normally instead of having to climb out, or avoid reaching high stuff. Won't be long before I feel myself again.

I was at the psychiatry waitingroom today. Was to meet a new nurse. (Checking blood pressure, pulse etc because of medication)
The nurse walked into the waiting room and looked at me for a half second and continued further into the waiting room. She called out my female name and I stood up and walked to her. She looked confused.
I told her I'm tg later when we were in her office.
Yesss! I was gendered right today. This happens 50/50.

Got my top surgery done on 9/19/2018 and chest is starting to look like a chest. It's too cold here to go shirtless but I'll be ready for next summer [emoji1340]♂️

@chanceDear Chance, this is wonderful and terrific news.... as the healing continues and perhaps some more chest hair... you can finally go shirtless and be your real self with more confidence than ever.
I will be eagerly looking for any followup reports that you may want to post.
Again, thanks for your good news update,
Best wishes to you,
Danielle

Today was (hopefully!) the last day my partner will have his bad hip! Tomorrow, hip replacement surgery!
I'll get my Pokemon Go walking partner back! (And many other things as well! [emoji6])

Congrats!
Well, this happened yesterday, but I'm posting this today since I'm just waking up. [emoji12]
I went to a very informative panel on understanding your legal rights as a Transperson. Even though we were late (I picked up a friend), we still arrived in time to learn some very important information.

My girlfriend called my by my preferred masc pronouns and got called dude by one of my guy friends!! I even got the dude fist bump thing from him! And my gf's daughter has officially called me daddy!! I have so much euphoria it's insane
That is awesome!
It's little wins like that that keep us motivated to keep going. :)
@Adrian26 Dear Adrian:
Thank you for sharing your very affirming report regarding being addressed by your desired pronouns...
... including a "dude fist bump" ... maybe the next level might be a "belly bump" like young guys in
high school do or good guy friends do :)
Keep your updates coming all around the various topics and threads around the Forum.
I am wishing for you happiness and success in your journey...
My best regards, Danielle[Northern Star Girl]

Today I decided to wear a sock as a packer for the first time and I absolutely love it. ;D It was nice to feel something there, like a physical reminder that no matter what I was gendered throughout the day I'm still a guy. I also used a sports bra as a binder which helped a lot with my chest dysphoria quite a bit. I know I still have a lot of work to do before I have my ideal body, but it's a start and I couldn't be happier about it.

That's awesome. Whatever works for you, dude. It's the little things that have the largest impact. Psychological wins are bigger than physical wins. :)

You could do that under a Prom dress. ;)

You're right! You are a lifesaver
I made my abuela's cheese enchiladas with her! It was very nostalgic and tasted delicious 😋
I'm finally wearing the most dude outfit I own: an oversized T-shirt, my sweats, and boxers
Gotta say this is pretty comfortable
