My name is Patricia.
I am new to forums of any kind and was a bit apprehensive of registering for this one; in fact, this is my first post of any kind, but after reading a bunch of your posts, I found I am exactly like many of you. I'm not gay and I have no desire to go out in public dressed like a woman. This is just something that I do when I am alone and have been doing since I was young. I used to steal my sister's underwear and clothing and try it on when no one was around, and have always liked the way it feels. Then, like many of you, as I got older I tried "quitting" many times and threw away sometimes hundreds of dollars worth of lingerie and clothing only to eventually buy more. Now I recently moved into a place where I live alone and have been exploring my fem side a bit more. I don't have to worry about being caught, I can dress up whenever I want, and I can order items through the internet without having to try and "intercept" them, etc. However, I wonder, where do I go from here?
As it stands now, I am just a man wearing lingerie and a dress. I only recently started researching cross dressing; in fact, that is how I came to find this site. I have also been considering purchasing a set of breast forms, wig, make up kit, etc. In my research I found a web page "suddenly femme." They are offering a "super starter" kit that comes with all of the items I would like to get, plus more, but the problem is that it is a bit pricy for my budget, but if it is worth it, I can probably manage it. Anyone familiar with the Kit I am talking about? Is it worth the cost, or should I go elsewhere and purchase items separately?
I also have questions about the breast forms themselves. I have found that there are millions of them out there with basically 2 distinct groups, the triangular and teardrop styles. Which are better? I personally like the way the teardrop style looks better, but am concerned about the overall height of that style. Are they going to protrude out the top of the average bra cup? Will they provide the natural look I am looking for? Do the triangular ones stay put better as I suspect? If I can narrow this one down, I think I will be ahead of the game. For $150 or more, I would really like to make an educated decision.
Anyway, I have read many of the introductions and the positive responses to them, so I am going to thank you all ahead of time for welcoming me to your community. I look forward to being a part of it and learning what it has to offer.

Welcome to susans place Patricia :) :) :) cant answer ur questions  but one of the girls will.
hello Patricia, and welcome to Susan's. i can't answer all your questions. but as for the triangular breast forms, yes they will portrude from the top of your bra as i have done research on breast forms your best bet is to spend about 150 on the forms alone as most natural women's breast are more round shaped not teardrop. plus if you get the self adhesive ones, they say you can go braless but that is not true, the adhesive is not strong enough and usually they do not match your skin color. mine don't by a long shot, but of course i am quite pale having an irish background(no offense to anyone). they will pretty much look natural if you wear high topped shirts or button down blouses, but if you want to wear halters or anything like that it is out of the question because if you want to stealth people will know, especially guys as that is where most of their eyes go first when they see a lady...and i said most not all. i speak from what i see from where i live. i have one bra that completely covers my forms and it is one of those thin satin ones that i guess you could call full coverage, but all the rest of them, they stick out form the top. if you have ever really watched the lingerie commercials or another woman put on her bra, you'll notice a lot of them are more for support and not coverage. if you want something to really cover them i suggest buying like the playtex bras as they normally cover the whole breast. i hope this helps Patricia...

Hello Mickie,
Thank you for the advice; however, I am a bit confused. All of the breast forms I have seen are either teardrop shape (the ones I would consider more round which is why I like them better) or they are triangular shape. Of course I believe the shape is characterized by where they meet the skin. Are there other's that I don't know about? I will look into it some more. I think I will also look into what Playtex has to offer in the way of bras because I know what you mean about some bras being more for support. Mine are mostly push up bras. I really bought those for 2 reasons. First is the fact that they came with removable pads (which is what I am currently using to fill my bra cups), and they are also padded (which tends to hide the ripples created by using multiple pads). Of course, they are also really comfortable, and I also like the way they look.
Thanks again,
Patricia
Welcome to Susan's and good luck.
Hi Patricia and welcome to Susan's I pray that you are able to find the answers to any of the questions you may have.

patricia, my forms i bought off ebay and they are the teardrop shaped kind and adhesive. a lot of the tops i wear they would porturdue from the top of my shirt so i cut them because i didn't believe they looked natural. i.e. they don't my skin tone and the tops of the forms never really did stick to my chest. for breast forms i would search on amazon.com as they have different types of forms and search for breast forms on yahoo's search engine. they also have a wide vairety at different stores. it just depends on the type of woman you want to be. here is a link with a review from a customer at amazon.com
http://www.amazon.com/Fashion-Forms-Silicone-Breast-Enhancers/dp/B000A6ZBA8/ref=sr_1_25?ie=UTF8&s=apparel&qid=1197764556&sr=8-25
Finally! I've been looking for a good bust enhancer for several years. These enhancers are well-shaped and incredibly comfortable. When ordering, go ahead and get the B/C size. Even if you are an A or low-B. These inserts are a little heavy and require a good bra to conceal and hold them up. I personally recommend using a Fashion Forms pocket bra style 9400 or a Playtex style 4300. Order a cup size above what you would normally wear.
there is also thebreastformstore.com, www.janetscloset.com, http://www.exsilbreastforms.com/perfect_female_breasts.html(not found this one till now but i think i like what i see), the last one i pasted you can pick your size and shape if you want to look naturale or whatever. also there is: http://www.thefantasygirl.com/lingerie/sheerbra.shtml, http://www.bosomfriends.co.uk/index.php?cPath=33, http://www.verseo.com/breastforms.html, and http://www.glamourboutique.com/breastforms/index.html. i suggest shopping around for all options before just making an impulse buy. i bought mine off ebay because i really can't afford much else till i get my tax return then i plan on buying some nice ones i hope my wife will help me pick out, but imo there will never be anything better than the real thing as i would like to have but am slowly getting to. i hope this helps you. if not ask more questions and i will help further.. feel free to pm if you feel like
Wow, there is a lot of information there.
