In a local mall there is a Nine West shoe store. It's closing. All Shoes $9.99. all boots $14.99. $35 later I scored two pairs of pumps and some cute boots! Way awesome!!

Sales are great. But Nine West caters to those with smaller feet than I have so it would have done me no good. I'm glad you were able to take advantage of it though.
Hugs,
Laurie
I am truly envious!

Oh darn! I guess my size 9 is too large.
On their website Nine West sells shoes up to size 12. But the few stores I've been to didn't have anything in stock larger than size 10.

All the Nine West stores near here (Chicago) carry up to size 12 in the store. Strange sizing though - I'm a 9.5 - 10 men's and in woman's it varies from 9.5 or 10 (all but two pairs I have) to 10.5 (the two pumps I bought today) and 11 (only ballet flats). So I'm not sure if the +2 rule works all the time.
The day Thirteen West has a sale I'm going all in.

I really wonder where the +2 myth (I'm just calling it a myth at this point) came from. It is way too dependent on the brand or style. I'd be wearing 12s and 13s if it were true, but women's 11s are loose on me. (I'm probably a comfortable wiggle room 10 1/2, actual 10, and can squeeze into some 9s/9 1/2s. Mens I can't go below 10 without crushing toes.)
Congrats on the score, Denise!
I'm a 9.5-10 in men's, a 10.5-11 in womens, though I did find a pair of 10s that fit pretty well. Metric sizes are more reliable, and becoming more common. I find them more useful. I'm a 43.
I've heard a +1 rule, that fits with my experience, never a +2 rule.

This falls in line with my findings, same sizes actually. My new boots are 10's
