Hi everyone. I wanted to share this eggnog pie recipe. It's totally easy but it's so good.
Graham cracker pie crust.
1 3.4-3.9 ounce box of instant vanilla pudding. It needs to be instant pudding.
2 cups of eggnog
One container of coolwhip.
Ready whip spray .
Mix the pudding mix with the eggnog then fold in the coolwhip.
Pour it into the crust and refrigerate at least 4 hours. Once the pie is set you can use the ready whip around the top edge of the pie for garnish.
that sounds good .. but not for my diet :)
Julia!!!!,
Why is it you keep posting these less than palatable things to eat? A vanilla pudding pie would be fine IF you used or made vanilla pudding you have to cook AND you leave out that nasty eggnog!
I swear, what's next? Perhaps I'll comb through these threads and compile the "Unfit For Human Consumption Cookbook".
Happy holidays, Julia.
Hugs,
Laurie
Don't listen to Laurie. She obviously has skills but sometimes you need ease. It sounds delicious! And my grandson can make it too!
Hugs, grandma Jessica

Hmmm it seems Laurie needs a eggnog cheesecake. I've already made TimTam cheesecake so eggnog is no problem. Lol

It's just an easy pie. I made one and and it was really good. It only lasted about a day with my dad and brother around. This is easy enough for a small child or even someone like my older brother to help make.Lol. I totally love egg nog. I've made eggnog cheesecake, eggnog pudding, eggnog cookies and eggnog cake.

In a few years you could add the brandy. I know, I know the alcohol cooks out... just sayin'

I have really made all those eggnog recipes. The fact they annoy you is just an added bonus. Lol. Just kidding Laurie. I don't actually try to annoy you it just happens. Kind of like with my brother. He will say " I know you aren't trying to annoy me but you are, so please shut up!" Lol.
Julia,
Annoy isn't the right word but it was the only one that came to my old mind beside sick, and sick was even worse. I don't get sick eating those I just make horrible faces if I inadvertently do put it in my mouth. There has been only 2 things I've eaten that made me sick.... black licorice and half a cockroach hiding in a PB&J sandwich. Well of there was a whole cockroach but only half was left in the sandwich. Beware if your PB&J crunches when you take a bite!
Hugs,
Laurie

OMG!! A roach?? Oh I would have yarfed all over the place. Black licorice is DISGUSTING beyond words. But even more disgusting is double salted black licorice. Yes, it's black licorice coated in salt. It's a Swedish thing. This Swedish girl I used to work with brought some to work. Double salted black licorice should be criminalized!

Wow, Julia! We actually agree on something? My Mom liked licorice so I would buy it for her. I don't even like the smell.

Licorice is vile. Once when I was little my grandma had chocolate licorice bites in a candy dish. I thought it was chocolate and ate a piece. Ewww! I almost had to use sandpaper on my tongue to get rid of that nasty taste.
Black licorice and jelly beans I think are the same flavor. I am not sure because I can't stand it either. In any case, I heard that when they make black jelly beans, they are the last ones they produce. The reason is they take the leftovers from the other colors and mix them all together. The black flavoring is so overpowering that you can't taste the other flavors in the batch.

I started with herbal therapies for breast enlargement. I was using fenugreek oil on my chest. It has a strong black licorice smell. Yuk
At least we are not talking about that awful eggnog any more....
