Hello everyone,

I am here to try and help myself cope with the rigors of being a woman who happens to be trans. Save my sister and her hubby who live hundreds of miles away, I don't have much emotional support and hope to find some here, and where possible return the favor to others.

Sorry if sometimes I am a ''Debbie Downer'' and I hope that folks can sometimes understand where I am coming from.

Hi I know it's hard to find support sometimes but even from my limited time here I've met some cool people who have all kinds of backgrounds. Whatever you are going through chances are there are a hundred more people who have lived through the same thing. Any doubts or concerns are shared by many here and there is a light at the end of the tunnel as many attest. I wish you luck sister <3

I have posted a few threads in another section of the forums and have gotten some really awesome replies there as well. I appreciate all of it.

I know Susan's pretty well and have read a lot of stuff here and value the community as it seems to be free of many of the trolls that infest other parts of the internet. People can laugh but I really do need a safe space in which to get answers, or just have folks to talk to.

This site, I believe, really does a lot of good and when I get a chance I will try to shoot the site a few dollars as a donation. I know, of course, that is not necessary for me to do so to get help or be accepted, but I'd love to show my support even if it's only a few bucks.

It's pretty common knowledge on the site that spammers and trolls are always in season for the moderator staff.  :icon_2gun:

Hi Shadowsister 🙋‍♀️ I'm Jessica, I'll offer what support I can and accept any I can get.  There is a lot of love here to help your troubled mind.  It's also not unheard of for all of us to be a bit of a Debbie Downer sometimes.  We just help each other through it.

Thanks bunches! I got a lot of help yesterday, Dena gave me some advice about work and everything. I hope I can return the favor and help folks out as well. To others who may reply I'm sorry if I do not respond to each of you, but I'll keep popping in to check on responses.

  I'm Laurie. I'm glad you are here. We try to make everyone feel welcome and try to give the what support and help we can. At the moment I'm hogging a lot of the goodwill here as I go through my own problems. But I will share with you or anyone else that needs the help. It is nice to see you out in the light instead of lurking in those dark shadows.
