Sorry if I got of to a bad start with my previous post comments on here. im on hrt at the moment .my wife has been very helpful in my transgender life. 😆 i know it hurts her to see me like this. She is my best friend and soul mate for over 2o years 3 years ago she found out that I was going out on the weekend fully dressed up as a woman. I lies to her that I was working. I've been doing this night outs on the weekend for over 10 years without her knowledge. it was my only way to escape from the male life. I would love to be a full time female. I really hate being a man every day. anyway I'm glad that I have found this website to find some friends and help me with my transition to be a female. 😆 💖 xoxo

I am MtF in Seattle, visited Sydney a few times - awesome city. Glad to hear your wife has been helpful, and I am hoping there are ways for her to understand so this doesn't cause her any additional pain. What I've gained here is information from people in all stages of transition, relating experiences good and bad - and by interacting we help additional people faced with the same questions and decisions. One thing I'll suggest is your wife may want to check out the Significant Others (https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/board,26.0.html) board on Susan's. It's a huge help to realise we are not alone, and Significant Others are also not alone.
If you have access to a therapist or counselor and haven't already seen one, they may also be able to help considerably - for your own path, and also to help your wife. A meeting with both of you and a counselor is the opposite of nights out without her knowledge - getting everything out on the table and coming up with a good plan for the future.

Hi there Kendra thanks for your input on this matter. yes I would love to get my wife to understand a little bit more of my gender disphoria. Maybe when she gets more information about this topic she won't be so upset and feral at me. 😆 lol.
